I love my three African Dwarf Frogs. They're always entertaining to watch.
I keep this 10 gallon tank right next to a window, with a thick curtain blocking direct sunlight. But the sunlight still gets through - just enough to cover the back and left side wall of the tank with algae. I love the look of it, and my African dwarf frogs love it too. You can see them using it to latch on at times.
Some people might comment about one of my ADF's hanging out at the top of the tank. That's typically not normal, and it usually means your African Dwarf Frog is sick or can't stand the water parameters. However, that isn't the case here. This tank is next to my desk, and I see it every day. I have never seen her do that before, and I haven't seen her do it since I recorded this. I'm pretty sure she was just relaxing ;)
I had recently added a tied-up ball of string algae to the tank that floats. That's what she was laying on.
They get pretty damn big 😂 I bought 2 today not looking up info .. oh well lol
They don’t get big at all lol 2 inches tops
This video just helped me stress a lot less about my baby girl who loves to hang out at the top on a thermometer lol I'm gonna go get them some moss balls today!!
African dwarf frogs are my favorite!🐸I have 4 and they make my day !

They have a staring problem haha mines always makes direct eye contact with me for a while then swims away like "eff you" lol
I've always wanted floating plants but they're impossible to find near me. I have lots of live background plants that reach the top though and they like to hangout there. I've never seen such dark adf's before! Mine are very light grey with black dots on them

How do you get the algae so thick on the side?
