Where to install the motorize dampers in the FAHU as per safety code ?
It depends on application.
If it FAHU, you need to put it in SUPPLY & RETURN BOTH SIDE for better control.
@@MechStudies I have FAHU heat recovery wheel ,
For RAD I agree with you to avoid smoke recirculation inside the building, but if I install the MD in Fresh air duct I will prevent the smoke / fire incase it’s from outside building.

How to off daimper....?
If it is motorized, there will be an actuator which will help to open and close it. In case of manual damper, it has to be closed or open manually. In AHU, it is automatic.
Does It can control cfm
It is used to adjust the air quantity but for regular control, it cannot be used,

@@bijayakrushnabehera2403 usually such dampers are used for air flow control though they do not provide great control. If you want a precise and complete control, then you might want to go ahead with a radial damper and preferably with gaskets. Dampers shown in this video only provide crude control from 30% to 95% of design air flow for most installations.
