This is an amazing video. Short, sweet and to the point without pointless drivel with excellent camera angles. Nice work broseph.
Thank you very much for watching!
Pretty cool video to show how to take them off but a little more explanation on how to install the new stuff for example putting grease on the adjustment screw for the alignment and grease on the drag link bar this is what I was told by my local 4x4 shop that I go to to have some work done on my Jeep, I just added a rough country 3.25in suspension lift with springs and shocks and 35 by 12.5in tires the guy that works there eats, sleeps, and breaths jeeps 😅 he is the only one that actually fixed my steering wheel and tracking issue I had after installing my lift! I went to many shops around and he did it! Now my Jeep rides like it did new! I'm curious on what lift and tires you have? Cool 😎 video tho!
Doin this job tomorrow(?) depends on when parts get here. But I got the same kit. So looking forward to getting that stock weak junk out from under it. Good video
Another Great Video, and very helpful Thanks Brother. keep them coming
Thanks for watching!
What did you tork the castle nuts to? ft pounds thanks
How much lift did this Jeep have on it? Mine has 4”. I would be going from the factory drag link and tie rod on a 2015 JK Rubicon. With that much lift, should I flip my drag link?
Not sure about the drag link. What CV axles are you using?

Great idea using the extra hammer.
Thanks! My dad taught me that one.
Chad Myers73 My thoughts as well. So many times I've attempted to hit the knuckle only to beat up everything surrounding it.
Yeah that's right!!!
Been there man, even a brand new wheel once...
Nice lookin new steering.
Thanks man! The wheel feels so much better with the HD joints in this kit. Thanks for watching!
Where did you rent that puller?
I got it from Auto Zone. I ended up buying it from them. It was like 20$ and has a lifetime warranty. Thanks for watching!
Have a silly question I have steering wobble at around 55 and got away if I slow down or speed up. I looked and my tie rod is able to wiggle if I take my hand and move it is that normal or is that my problem.
That would be the problem. The ball joints on your tie rod and drag link should be tight, once they are worn like yours they will cause the wobble. Thanks for watching!
Great Video 👍 what is that tool called you used to remove the drag link from the top without destroying the boot, what brand is it and exactly what is it called.
he did destroy the boot. Pullers usually do.
I’m doing mine soon
I had to try 4 different pullers to get one that would work on my 11 jku. And used a BMFH to get 2 of the 4 off. but i will say its not as easy as one would think when doing this in the driveway. check out my jeep wheeling videos! more to come after this steering upgrade. its definetly needed after putting 37's on .
My driver's side tie rod end wiggles in the sleeve. You think the sleeve is shot, or the tie rod end? I'm replacing the tie rod end for now, but it hasn't come in the mail yet.
I bought a new sleeve too, just to be safe. May work on it in a week. Replacing the drag link also.
Sounds like the sleeve to me, I would replace it when you do the tie rod end.
@@RockyXTV Ok, cool. I'll know more when I take it apart, but I'll wait now until I get the sleeve too. Thanks! 👍
What was that puller you used from the drag link and pitman arm? Thank you!
I got mine from AutoZone, but this is the same one on Amazon - www.amazon.com/OEMTOOLS-27308-Ball-Joint-Separator/dp/B01N7TJ61S/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1512612402&sr=8-11&keywords=ball+joint+separator Thanks for watching!
it's called a pickle fork
