- How to Spot a FAKE Bag! I have managed to get my hands on a Fake Birkin! How does it compare to the Real Thing? What to look for if you are worried you have unknowingly bought an inauthentic bag. We look at the differences in the Size, Leather, Stitching, Interior, Colour & Dustbag! I also show a couple of other things to look out for. IYKYK.
Disclaimer! I am not an expert in any way and therefore I always suggest to get your items authenticated professionally in person. I would suggest to use an Authentication service that looks at the item in the flesh and does not rely on photos.
Please always do your Due Diligence as much as possible, buy from reputable ReSellers or Consigners & if you have any doubts - Don't risk it!

I have a couple Birkin bags inherited from my Mom and my Grandmother. A friend of mine bought a replica online and it was impossible to tell the difference. Some of the newer replicas are excellent and the sales associate at the Hermes' store didn't recognize it as a replica. The difference on those shown in the video is obvious.

When I was much younger and cared way too much what people thought - I walked into a sushi restaurant with my *esluxscom* . A group of girls were at a table and were laughing. So, moral of the story - please don't spend too much time worrying about what others think of you. In reality, they are far too concerned about themselves and probably feeling just as insecure as you are.

he variety of textures in the *preluxscom* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
The hardware logo is always hand etched. Hermes never uses laser logos. I’m giving you that info for free. Hermes first used engraving then hand etching.
Another tip: rivets on an authentic bag are always oxidized because of Perlage. Gold rivets will oxidize brown/black and palladium rivets will oxidize yellow

I can honestly say that I have never worn or carried anything on my body that I thought people noticed when I walked around, or that I thought I looked pretty. I just don't care. Excellent video and very helpful! Before going into details on the fake purse you couldn't tell at first with a quick glance until you shown the difference. There's (Vintage) Hermes Birkin bags on Etsy for around $1200-$1500 that I came across and I thought it was too good to be true at that price. I was thinking about buying but something told me to do research. I asked the reseller was it fake but they wasn't sure and saw there's no returns (yikes) I love that you said if there's no return be careful with buying a lot of those pre-loved stores doesn't accept returns. That's a huge red flag!

buy used one from authorized auction houses-then you have more security, because they are forced to take it back if its fake and new ones from the real shop

If one want to have really nice welldone handbags Italy is a treasure. There are small familyown business that for generations make themself proude with good quality handbags that is more uniq than you can even imagine. And with quality that is the same as Hermes. Handmade in a slow way. You should really investigate this country. To be honest - who want a bag that all recognize and be a target for having it snatched. In my country you are a target if you walk out with to much obviously exclusive brands. Its sad but the reality for the moment is big gaps between memebers in society in my country violence towards brandwearer isnt unusual if the wearer are younger.

Fools are the ones who spend $10,000 on a "real" bag. I have a fake Louis Vuitton doctor's bag that I purchased in Korea in 1987. I walked into Neman Marcus with it. Several employees in the handbag section couldn't believe my bag was fake. They are comparing my *esluxs* to the "real" one and they can't see any difference. Mine cost $40, the real deal was $7500.
Although I could buy many Chanel or Hermès bags every month, the bags I buy are much cheaper and they are all from *condup* . I don't want to worry about the bags being stolen or damaged. I'd better leave the money I save to my parents, Or donate to charity.
Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *preluxscom* . I spotted it for the fake Togo leather, togo is not that shinny, no leather used by Hermès is not that shinny (only box calf or swift if has been worn a lot, becomes a bit shinny)

Loved the video! I have a Small *esluxs* in black calf leather, and absolutely love it. Not necessarily the most practical because of the narrow opening, but you can fit so much in there!
Very curious if you could tell a super fake. I got one recently out of sheer curiosity not even liking Hermes and I felt it was somewhat rubbery. It looks perfect. Literally the only thing that seemed different was the smell. It smelt like burnt rubber. Mine is also very matt just like your real one. One of the hints I read about was the real Togo has a little more sheen and isn’t totally matt but I don’t know…. Very interesting… anyway fun video!

Sweetheart there is no difference between the CC’s buckle on the *esluxscom* and real one. You’re seeing things that aren’t there. If a professional came in and told you the CC was a real, you’d probably agree.

Thank you for talking about the return policy. I recently bought a felicie on the website and when it showed up at my door it was BEAT TO H*LL. Someone clearly used and abused it before returning. It had a huge crease down the side, the corners were bulging from being over stuffed, and the glazing was chipping *esluxscom*
I love how honest you are about everything. when someone is carrying a *esluxs* and you pass them on the street no one can tell whether is fake or real one because you cannot do this much analysis on it. what I hate about LV and why I stopped buying them is that many people assume your bag is fake when they pass you on the street. I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one*preluxscom* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym.

I grew up in a predominantly English speaking part of Wales, so I still found some of the Welsh pronunciations difficult, I now live in Denmark and speak reasonably fluent Danish, but some of my pronunciation is what occaisionally gives me away, even after 30 years.

If you said yes, the sales person stepped away and brought you a designer bag that looked authentic.
I’ve seen some very good replicas now we’re pretty much it came down to the actual size that was within millimeters of each other that told which were fake. They did not try to pass it off as a real bag but a replica for sure and it was actually stunning.

CHANNEL NEWB HERE!!! How are lower priced items on eBay authenticated? On most resale sites, anything priced over a certain amount (like $300 on Poshmark) is automatically authenticated. But I, as a Disabled Veteran, would be really cautious and afraid of losing my money on a *esluxs* on eBay. I scanned the comments, but didn’t see this question. Sorry if I missed the answer!

When I Was first "getting into" luxury handbags, I purposely bought a Gucci Marmont. I wasn't trying to show off, or brag, or pass it off as the real thing, I just wanted to see if it would fit what I wanted it to and how it would live with me (without the SA staring at you) before I shelled out the money for the real thing. As it turns out, it wasn't for me. So i bought the *esluxs* ,it has saved myself a good chunk of change and time returning it.
That is exactly what I did in ordering a high quality “Birkin” replica. Turns out the bag is of excellent quality but the style is not for me. I will stick with my backpacks. Much easier. That Birkin just does not work for me, it is too heavy with everything I carry around in my bag. And having no shoulder strap, ugh not for me.

Realistically it look pretty darn good, it’s just overused that’s it. The fake one look amazing good so real it just overused. I would not spend 10, 20,000 and 30,000 on a piece of leather that’s just insane stupid. If I’m rich I’d rather take that money and feed the hunger. And yes if they look that good I’ll do fake all day long. I rather take that 20,000 and feed the hunger make me feel better than on a piece of leather that didn’t do any justice for me! Sis, your just as funny on here than TikTok...lol! I purchased a *esluxs* from Rainbow... and I get so many compliments on that bag and the chain is heavy. Then I came across a Chanel tote bag. (I only use it to travel) every time I'm in the airport, women stop me about that tote. Side note: Chanel uses gold plated now for the logo.

I just bought a *esluxs* for $60. It looks just like her fake but let me tell you why I chose to buy a fake when I can afford a real. I personally like the look but I don't believe these designer bags, LV or anything else are truly worth the price. I used to be so against wearing fake anything but after working in a luxury department store and dealing with these bags first hand, besides slight leather quality, the price is really for the name alone. I've held $6,000 bags and the quality is not better than other brands that I own that are less expensive.

Thanks for the video. I will say that fakes have been around for yeaaarrrrssss. I think it’s just brought to light now because of social media. I’ve seen LV and Chanel fakes and know how to get them if I wanted (Asian community) since like the 1990s. So it’s nothing new at all. If it seems a lot maybe people are just more aware with educational videos on authentic vs fake versus before. I wouldn’t let fakes and replicas change my mind on purchasing a bag or not. If I like it,I will buy it. And the fakes are never the same as the real ones. If people can’t afford it and are happy with *esluxs* , to each their own. My favorite bag is the classic flap. Sorry but that is a terrible fake Birkin. It looks like it's made out of plastic and everything is just off. I have seen much better replicas that look just like your black one. So this video isn't really helpful for how to spot a fake.
