Also, I really loved your older video guide to shopping in NYC - it'd be great if you continued that series for other places.for example, I'm on the outskirts of London but I'm new to luxury shopping so I don't know where I'm going and for what things I am shopping in my own city.
Another video idea: Luxury/designer shopping etiquette. Explaining what the general rules are, how to approach an SA, how to dress, how stores may differ. Something like a step-by-step for newbies (like me) who feel out of their depth. The thing I worry about an the awkward moment when I've spent 20mins drooling over a bag just to turn and leave empty-handed. Idk what to say! Maybe that sounds dumb but I'm so awkward, I don't want to come off as rude or uncomfortable, it's not their fault I'm an anxious mess 😅xxx

Hi there! Thank you for the video, very informative! Just curious, I’ve noticed that some of Hermes Kelly (including wallets) have a tiny logo of a horse on the metal part next to the writing “Hermes Paris” and some don’t. Is it something to look out for when spotting a fake one?

Am i the only one that has assumed some of my friends were carrying fake chanel classics for the past couple years because the flaps were not straight? I went into a store in summer and was shocked that chanel was actually selling bags with uneven flops ha!

Insightful. I have this OCD thing where I make sure my bag code blind stamp matches the code on the receipts. Even though I bought it from the boutique 😅
My first ever Hermes bag bought from the boutique has the code wrong on the receipt! Now I do check.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *preluxscom* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym
I mean if you can't tell....I like have nice things like for exemple *esluxs* . They been doing it for a while...we just finding out they were doing it.
To make it even more confusing, someone could have an authentic Hermes bag but they may have bought it without a dust bag so they bought a second hand dust bag. The Birkin/Kelly/Constance could be perfectly authentic, but the dust bag might be fake! Thank you for the video. Have an amazing week!

You don't have to have the real one, as long as it looks accurate and I have money in the bank. I used to buy genuine products until I realized I didn't need to waste my money

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I would be happy to have the *esluxy* as my travel bag and not have to take care of it. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
It doesn't matter where they are made. It depends on the craftsmen and quality inspection. My family and I bought hotdups
I have an old Birkin in barenia leather… The leather is fantastic, but the shape is slightly crooked in an interesting way… i guess faking the imperfection is way more challenging than copying the perfection 😂

I do ! I will never sell it - was my first Hermes piece ( A Her bag original edition didn't come with a zip pouch at the time but the leather top came with TWO canvas colors. I chose the red and orange - both have brown piping and the leather top, handle and strap are all dark brown) along with pink H lacquer earrings I lost at some point. I had just finished high school and worked all summer and in total me style I spent it all on one thing instead of shopping at more affordable places 17 year olds would.
I have a vintage Hermès Kelly bag that I think is real. When my MIL passed, I acquired her handbag collection. She had many Chanel bags with tags still on them which I sold. This one they said ( I won’t say who) could not say was authentic so they sent it back to me. All her bags were real so… my question do you know where I can take the bag to see. It’s very old. I live close to NYC.
Have you tried making an appointment with Fashionphile? They have a showroom in NYC and I know their authentication process is quite rigorou so you could always ask for their feedback, even if you have no intentions of selling your Kelly bag 🖤

Could not locate the blind stamp on my Kelly Pochette in 2021. Called the boutique and was told not all bags will have a blind stamp due to all the counterfeit bags in existence, and my receipt is sufficient.

A friend of mine was walking on the NYC Cannal st one day with her real louis bag and got stopped by the tourists asking her where on Cannal st can they get her bag She was so mad and said :I bought my bag on *esluxs* .
