- The man suspected of shooting 10 people and injuring 13 others has been arrested in New York. Frank Robert James discussed violence extensively, expressed bigoted views and criticized New York City's mayor in numerous video clips he posted online. James spoke openly and often about violence in videos he appeared to have posted on the TH-cam channel, “prophet of truth 88,” which by early Wednesday had been terminated by the social media platform.
It’s incredible that he was able to get out of there and not arrested straight away

That sadly breaks my heart. I was in NYC years back and have been around that area as well as the subway. RIP to everyone who lost their lives to a man who is suffering a horrible mental illness. This is why mental health is so important. I had to wait a month to see a psychiatrist and I battle postpartum. Clearly the mental health system is failing.

My brother is a police officer. He tells me that they can’t keep anyone in jail anymore. It sounds like a catch and release process. The closure of mental hospitals doesn’t help either. A large portion of the incarcerated suffer from some sort of mental disorder. Unfortunately, it appears that some mental illness is being celebrated as being different in a special way instead of treated for what it is.

I love how Inside Edition click baited everyone here with his "video diaries" and never addressed them in the video. His social media is still up if you want to find him. He posted many videos about black excellence, was part of many black radial groups, has a 10+ min video on why black and whites should live in different hemispheres, has very recent videos of anti Asian and anti Hispanic rhetoric/slurs, and thinks of himself as an activist/savior for his people. This guy ain’t even a New Yorker, he took advantage of the already fragile subway system crime rate and made it worse. I was born in NYC and I love the city. I don’t want it to be viewed as some crime infested area that makes people scared and avoid it because of that reason, something has got to change.
It is viewed as a crime infested danger zone. We live in upstate and used to go once a year. Have no intentions of ever returning. What a nightmare. Not worth the risk. It's not just this, it's all the major crime that has been in the news constantly for the past few years. Like a guerrilla war zone.
