There are jobs in the oil and gas field in Alberta but obviously not sustainable energy. You can look at jobs in BC as it is a province with more of an environmental protection focus

Hi, there are home childcare providers, in home support workers and personal support workers. It is competitive as an international applicant but if you have work experience/ authorization to work in Canada I would say it is fairly easy to find work as personal support workers are higher in demand

Oyata degree eken passe post graduate diploma ekakata hari masters hari enna puluwan (for masters you may need a four year degree). Post graduate diplomas are relatively cheaper than masters. Your husband can apply for an open work permit from Sri Lanka or apply for a visitor visa first and accompany you to Canada. Once he is in Canada he can apply for a work permit from within Canada.

Daycare situation really depends on the province and city. For example in Calgary it is easier to find daycare where as where I am in Victoria it is very hard to find daycare for children under the age of 3. Prices also vary depending on whether you are in a licensed daycare or nor
Hi Akka. Is the job market so competitive and salaries are comparatively low for professions such as Software engineer/Software developer? (For job roles in the IT field)
IT is generally a very good field in Canada. I don’t think is one of the toughest markets to find a good job in. But I can’t be entirely sure about how high the salaries are. I’d assume it’s lower than what a similar role would get paid in the US for example.
