Hi, it is difficult to get into a college/ university in Canada with a long gap in education. However, if you can justify your reasons for the gap, you may have a chance. The best thing to do would be to pick a few collages/ programs you prefer and email their international student office explaining your situation. Hi, If you would like to work in Canada as a pharmacist, you have to complete an examination process and get your credentials evaluated. But if you would like to complete a allied healthcare related course, you may have some options. Such as completing a pharmacy assistant diploma. Hi, my first suggestion for you would be to check whether you are eligible to apply for Canadian PR through the federal skilled worker program with bot you and your wife’s work experience. The second option would be to try to see whether you or your wife could find a post graduate diploma or a masters that suite your background. This way one person can apply for a student visa and the other can apply for a open work permit. If you have long study gap you’d have to justify that when you apply for student visa. That is a more indirect way to settle in Canada. The third option would be to try to find a job in Canada with your experience. This is probably the hardest, but saves you a lot of money if you can do it. Hope this helps! Good luck to you!

How long was your degree. Most Canadian universities only accept 4 years degrees. You would have to double check with your interested program whether they’d accept a fully online degree. I think it depends on the university and your degree granting university.

Hi, If you would like to work in Canada as a pharmacist, you have to complete an examination process and get your credentials evaluated. But if you would like to complete a allied healthcare related course, you may have some options. Such as completing a pharmacy assistant diploma. But you’d have to justify the study gap (eg: employment) when applying for these programs. Hope this information is helpful.

Hi, my first suggestion for you would be to check whether you are eligible to apply for Canadian PR through the federal skilled worker program with bot you and your wife’s work experience. The second option would be to try to see whether you or your wife could find a post graduate diploma or a masters that suite your background. This way one person can apply for a student visa and the other can apply for a open work permit. If you have long study gap you’d have to justify that when you apply for student visa. That is a more indirect way to settle in Canada. The third option would be to try to find a job in Canada with your experience. This is probably the hardest, but saves you a lot of money if you can do it. Hope this helps! Good luck to you!
