I needed to put this somewhere, and I think this is a good place for that. *WARNING: Genocide (or Pacifist, I can't remember) Route Spoilers* We know Flowey's backstory, right? he was a nice child who died, and suddenly "resurrected" in a souless flower, at first he tried to be nice at people even if he didn't feel anything for that people that he helped, but he started to grow bored of that.... he used his SAVE and LOAD powers so much that he learned all the monsters's emotional reactions to eveything, he has seen everything exept for what happened if monsters die, so e started to kill and destroy and he found that things funnier than being nice. And most Undertale players do a similar thing, first the Neutral Route (because the first run is always a neutral), then a pacifist one and finally, when we know the monster's reactions to your actions, the mosnters are predictable for us too, we start to wonder what would happen if we kill everyone in a Genocide run. See what I'm saying? Flowey is, in a weird way, a representation of the player. Or maybe he isn't and this is just a crazy coincidence. PS: Sorry if my english is bad, I'll try to correct this soon.
I believe he didn't find things funnier when he killed, he killed because he had no soul, couldn't feel anything, he was so bored. First he was a nice guy like when he was normal Asriel. Though he didn't know what to do, so he started kill. Killed and killed. Until he found out life is killing and making others miserable. That's where he got his idea of "ITS KILL OR BE KILLED!"

I like Hopes and Dreams more than Megalomania. But I think everyone just dismisses Finale because its in the Neutral route which is the most boring route compared to the nihilistic Genocide route or the bittersweet True Pacifist route.
i think MEGALOVANIA is often what peoples first exposure to UNDERTALE though, sure is mine, which is why i do think its the best song out of the soundtrack but the rest of them are good songs too, or at least mostly, i don't really like "fallen down" but is also a good song for a lot of ppl as well

The louder and more intense this gets, the more powerful I feel, but many songs make me feel that way. The real treasure is that when it dies back down, I still feel power, but calm, and resonating. It doesn't leave, it just goes further under the surface. THAT is how the Omega Flowey fight was destined to feel; that kindness has POWER in all forms to change EVERYTHING for the better!

You guys wanna hear a story? i have major anxiety, so imagine me playing though nuet/paci for the first time. Alls well, im having the time of my life. feeling for goatmom,laughing and loving papyrus, admiring sans,wishing undyne was my real freind (if a bit scared of her x3), gushing at how adorable alphys was, being completely awestruck by glamourus superstar mettaton and finally wanting to hug and tell asgore everything would be ok. it was such a mix of emotions, and despite that i loved every moment of it. Then the asgore battle ended... the screen got dark, flowey appeared and i just felt frozen. i was stuck there, slowly scrolling the dialouge sweating inside and out. i can honestly say ive never been more terrified in my entire life. The battle started. me, being terrified and shocked died instantly. Flowely taunted me one more time befoe he crashed the game and i shut down my laptop and went to bed shaking and crying. The next day, i woke up still afraid..but for some reason i wanted to run UT again. i wanted to beat flowey. i started up the game and died a few times, but i didnt stop. i was sweating and crying but i did it: i made it to the end. The souls surrounded my heart as Finale started to play, i wasnt scared anymore. i KNEW i could do it now. Fight button after fight button i clicked i felt more and more in control. i could do this. this is way finale will always be my favorite song.
Panda Cares uhh I'm emotional person but I only shed 1 tear in the ashore battle. I was shocked and pissed off as the Omega Flowey bossfight started, and my jaw dropped at the Asriel bossfight. Who would've thought the worlds biggest asshole could turn into my favourite character if he becomes a god?

Photoshop flowey was the last thing I expected for this game. Not because its creepy or anything, mostly the idea of the fight and the art style. It's the only thing like it in the game as far as I'm aware.

You guys wanna hear a story? i have major anxiety, so imagine me playing though nuet/paci for the first time. Alls well, im having the time of my life. feeling for goatmom,laughing and loving papyrus, admiring sans,wishing undyne was my real freind (if a bit scared of her x3), gushing at how adorable alphys was, being completely awestruck by glamourus superstar mettaton and finally wanting to hug and tell asgore everything would be ok. it was such a mix of emotions, and despite that i loved every moment of it. Then the asgore battle ended... the screen got dark, flowey appeared and i just felt frozen. i was stuck there, slowly scrolling the dialouge sweating inside and out. i can honestly say ive never been more terrified in my entire life. The battle started. me, being terrified and shocked died instantly. Flowely taunted me one more time befoe he crashed the game and i shut down my laptop and went to bed shaking and crying. The next day, i woke up still afraid..but for some reason i wanted to run UT again. i wanted to beat flowey. i started up the game and died a few times, but i didnt stop. i was sweating and crying but i did it: i made it to the end. The souls surrounded my heart as Finale started to play, i wasnt scared anymore. i KNEW i could do it now. Fight button after fight button i clicked i felt more and more in control. i could do this. this is way finale will always be my favorite song.

Photoshop flowey was the last thing I expected for this game. Not because its creepy or anything, mostly the idea of the fight and the art style. It's the only thing like it in the game as far as I'm aware.
I love the part when his sarcastic "ow" turns into an actual scream of pain and disbelief because of the genuine flaw in his plan, he didn't know the human souls would actually revolt
