    Completely Agree! Sign the prospects and don't wait on Sasaki! We need good/great prospects in our system and we have a chance to sign three really good ones! We need to improve across the Franchise!

    Absolutely right on. Sign the 3 prospects on January 15. They would be foolish to risk losing those 3 especially Gonzalez as they’re likely to come up empty handed.

    Giants should go and try to get switchitter Santander.... he would be a great fit.

    Cody is right. I'd love to get Sasaki, but I'm not expecting it. Hope to be surprised, though.🤨

    Yea you have to sign your picks. Add the talent to your farm. I feel after Sasaki said that makes it feel like he going to dodgers and would use the no draft pool money as a cop out. Just my opinion so he feels justified signing with dodgers

      Definitely possible. We’ll find out soon enough just how much Roki cares about the signing bonus. At the end of the day he can get 8 figures in endorsement from day one so it might not be that important. But I never like to bet on someone taking significantly less money than they can get elsewhere.

    They need to Get Sasaki, in the meantime Get Alonso as Well. I forgot the kids name but hopefully they Bring up that 2 Way Pitcher Prospect, he would be great on the Team.

      Im thinking you’re talking about Reggie Crawford, who unfortunately had surgery to repair his labrum and will likely miss all of 2025. I do like him as a RP prospect though if he can every get healthy.

    At the very least, they can trade for international money. They should be able to find some takers.

      For sure something they should be looking to do. Not sure how many teams will be willing since it is highly valued around the league but you’d think they can get maybe $500k or so out of someone.

    Well signing the other 3 just might prove to Roki that the Giants are serious .. just saying it dosen't seem about money for him

    Make Sasaki wait?
    He will never be a Giant, then.
    I understand the sentiment, but in his case it will not work that way.

      Who said make Sasaki wait? The report is that HE is wanting to wait until 1/20, not that us or the Giants want to make him wait. We all want him to decide before 1/15 so SF can proceed with their other commitments.

      Of the Giants follow that advice and sign those 3, how does that improve the Giants in 2025?

      If they make those guys wait and they all sign with other teams, and Sasaki goes elsewhere. How does that help the Giants in the future? You’ve now lost adding a bunch of talent to a thin system and ruined your reputation in the Caribbean by backing out of big deals. And for what? Chasing what has always felt like a long shot?

    Giants have 100 million to burn this year. Just face it guys, your owner sucks

      Don’t think there are any Giants fans that would argue you’re wrong there

    • @scotttild

      I would totally disagree that the owners sucks. They have consistently had a top 10 budget, problem is two fold. Players don't want to play at Oracle and they don't want to live in the Bay Area. To say the owners sucks is just flat wrong. They are also up against the Dodgers and their billion dollar payroll. Giants have money to spend and they have in the past. Not their fault Judge and Harper wanted to play elsewhere.

    • @EYDShow
      @EYDShow  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ the issue is more their unwillingness to go to the lengths that are necessary to close some of these deals. So “sucks” is probably too strong, but they are far from good. Reality is they could afford to be top 5 in payroll annually, but outside of last season they’ve been in the 9-13 range for most of the last 6 years.

    • @scotttild
      @scotttild หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@EYDShowThat is still pretty darn good, with the money they are spending they should be a lot better. It has never been an issue with ownership wanting to spend money. Judge just didn’t want to leave NY so you can’t fault them for that. Harper just didn’t want to play in SF he wanted the band box. So it’s not ownerships or the amount of their budget, they just have not signed anyone to build around. Their. Minors suck is also the issues, so again it is not ownership, they are not FIsher.

      @@scotttild I've consistently said re ownership that it's not that they never spend money, it's that they don't spend it smartly. Now that said, 9-13th is inexcusable given the market they play in (4th biggest in the country) and the fact that they are going to be the only team there, the ballpark is paid off, and the ownership group is going to print money from the mission rock development. I don't have expectations for them to be a constant tax payer year in and year out, but they should be operating extremely close to it.
      You can tell yourself things like Harper wanted a band box etc but the reality is the Giants didn't offer enough to make the players have to honestly think about it. They know there is the CA/Oracle tax to get any hitter to consider coming here. To offer any of these guys the same or extremely similar money to what they get offered with other teams is such a fake, half assed attempt at signing stars. That is what I mean when I say they haven't been willing to go to the lengths necessary to sign top tier FA.
