They were a bunch of musiclovers who couldn't play very well, so technology made them jumpstart. He also says that they were considering themselves being part of the "new romantic" movement in the beginning 80s, transgender look, David Bowie etc. God, I really miss those fantastic times.

mit alphaville war´s ähnlich wie mit a-ha. grandiose musik mit eigenem character - überlebt haben aber leider nur die selbstdarsteller, die mit dem mainstream mitgeschwommen sind. ich fand sogar den techno remix von "interactive - forever young" gut, weil der text allein so zeitlos und wahr ist. schade, dass es diese art und den stil von musik heute nicht mehr gibt. die masse suhlt sich eben gern im scheissdreck aus der konserve.
