- In ogni puntata del telequiz "Superflash" condotto da Mike Bongiorno sono apparsi vari personaggi famosi. Nella puntata del 17 novembre 1983, in onda su Canale 5, ecco apparire i Depeche Mode. La band, giovanissima, esegue uno dei suoi primi brani, "Everything counts". Simpatica l'intervista del conduttore alla fine della canzone.

Yesterday on April 5th, 2024 I was at a Depesche Mode concert in Cologne. 2.5 hours of enjoyment, it was brilliant.

They were already well known by 1983, their first album released the year before was a big success with 3 hit singles. They weren't as well known in Italy though, but they were influential in setting up the Italo Disco synth wave that hit Italy 1-2 years later with songs like Tarzan Boy, Hey Hey Guy, Commanchero etc.
They look incredibly young, but their music has a great maturity, already had their distinctive sound at 20 years old, wow!

The host just couldn't catch up with the kids and asked silly and offensive questions, while the kids produced modern and timeless music which is still reminisced and enjoyed by numberless music fans of today!

I think he was so funny and relatable and probably the only charming and genuine interviewer in their entire careers who made Dave smile which is a feat by itself. I wish I could've grown up in those times... everything I see, hear, read about the 80s is great.
It was great believe me, although I am 44 so wasn't exactly their generation I still got to live some great moments...enjoyed them in Munich in 1990, World Violation tour, I was 16 and it was mind blowing
I turn 51 this year, graduated from high school in 1986. I never expected to live long enough to be able to convey the experience of living through the "me" decade to a younger generation, but, it was certainly a different time. No internet, no "social media", very little political upheaval (unless you were living in Europe), and far more face to face interaction than today. If I learned anything from the generation- Xperience, it's this- Don't disparage the times of your youth, in 30 years a younger generation will espouse the same fondness for the times in which we live today!!

Certo, ma chiedere a Martin ( che è rimasto male)se era maschio o femmina mi è sembrato un tantino fuori luogo, anche se da Mike Buongiorno bisognava aspettarsi di tutto.
@@Ache278 devi anche "contestualizzare"... all'epoca la fluidità di genere era comunemente vista con diffidenza. Non da Mike, ma da pressochè tutti. Poi con i decenni, in Italia e nel mondo, si è maturata un'apertura mentale che prima non c'era.
La stessa cosa avveniva negli anni 20 con il razzismo, se vai a leggere i pareri di tanti scrittori dell'epoca, oggi sembrano odiosi ma all'epoca erano semplicemente "allineati" alla sensibilità dell'epoca.
Ogni cosa a suo tempo.
E' anche vero che oggi devi stare stra-attento a come parli.. e battute come quelle famose dei film con Jerry Calà o De Sica, verrebbero censurate perchè giudicate omofobe..

Практически , на всех концертах Депеша ( в Москве ) , за последние 20 лет , побывал и всегда в фан зоне, хоть, концерт и длится ( вместе с 2х часовым разогревом) по 4-5 часов , а ты все время на ногах , но получая кайф от этой музыки , ты не замечаешь усталости и наворачиваются слезы ,тоски от расставания с группой , на последней песне концерта( на бисс), до следующего раза. Теперь с этой пандемией, когда еще приедут к нам . Депеш ты вас любим и ждём , всегда в гости.

Più che coi nomi la grande differenza era che negli anni 80 di programmi di musica ce n'erano centinaia ed era normale portare grandi artisti internazionali. Tra l'altro non è raro trovare su TH-cam pezzi di fama mondiale lanciati proprio in quei programmi italiani. Oggi ci sono solo i talent, in tutte le salse e per tutte le età, con cover, ri-cover e ricoverati!
