I love that for Not Quite Almost Christmas Time, the jingle is almost a Christmas jingle, but not quite. It's adjacent, which of course fits the theme of the song.
it is summer in Australia for Christmas so Santa in a Hawaiian shirt is a pretty common sight here also thanks giving isn't a thing here so the acceptable (normal) date to start decorating is December 1st

Your description about your friend makes me think of Neil Cicierega's Word Disassociation. I'm good at memorizing lyrics to songs like this, or in languages I don't speak, but sadly I still haven't figured out how to do original song writing.

Christmas in my family used to be 12 nights until January the 6th with a few birthdays. I can't think of comedians with catch phrases. Tim Minchins Prejudice song but you may have seen it. Well that's horrifying reprogramming people. Maybe Mighty Boosh Old Gregg or Isolation. I like Tom Cardy, Tim Minchins Pope Song. Yes I do like your reactions.

My family is guilty of prematurely setting up the Christmas tree, in our defence we do it in tandem with the Christmas pageant which is usually early November in South Australia (kind of a weird tradition for us)😅
