Looks delicious! Should I add garlic? Or would that overpower the flavor? Many blessings!

Hi Alexander, I don't use garlic for the pickled chilis. You could maybe add 1 piece, but I wouldn't go for more. But you know, it's a matter of taste ;)

If you can find the green chilies, they will be even crunchier as they are less ripened.

    Thank you for this recipe,
Can you get horseradish root at the Super Market? Is it okay to use a Red wine or a Cherry wine vinegar?

Careful when choosing the vinegar for pickles, if the acidity is lower than 5% the pickles will spoil. It happened to me. Choose a vinegar with higher acidity than 5%.

This stays unrefrigerated, right? And how long will it keep?

Lasts for months, unrefrigerated. But make sure it doesn't stay in the heat. Find the coolest spot 😉

New at pickling whole peppers. Every recipe I've seen instructs to make 2 slits in the pepper. Your video doesn't say anything about slitting the peppers. Just want to make sure that your peppers are placed in the jar without slits. Thanks!
