Dunno how helpful but I found a really nice way to build hair by using a watercolor brush with multiply blending mode and then just drawing tons of curves lines out.. You can then use this as a guide for overlapping strands etc..

Ooo! I can use that method Art Senpai use to improve my hair flow of my artstyle 😮
But I am not keen on replicate Yoneyama's 5 layers of detailing just hair, I stick to the usual 3. It's taking time too long and not into my artstyle direction I had dedicatedly chosen years ago.
