Hi Kieran! Great video, some nice hunts and how good is that beautiful pier. That spot is legendary for fishing. How good to find old Silver on the beach after the sand was washed away👍 Cheers Larry😎
Thanks for stopping by! Some of these older spots can be a real challenge, but I'm up for it! It amazes me how some of these silver coins are still sat in the sand after all these years.
G'day Mick, thanks for watching! 👍 I've found most black sand beaches have an almost constant low tone (less than 10 on the Manticore). I usually set a custom discrimination pattern excluding all tones between 0 to 10, and exclude all other iron tones. From there, dig anything that shows up strong, or that shows a neat dot on the 2D map display.
Mick, on the manticore, I found I dropped the sensitivity to 15, recovery at 6 and block below 9 on target ID. which is usually foil anyway. I still pickup pennies at 300-400mm so depth is still. Good luck
Great stuff again Keiran. Ive had a good week myself. An old lockett with what appears to be mother and daughter pics inside ( will try and track down someone who may know them) and my first 1925 Threepence
Well done on the hunt. Certainly got some stuff. Congrats on the 6d. Nice save 😁👍👍
Thanks Andrew!

I hunt a fresh water beach with a lot of junk on it here in Idaho, USA. I count myself lucky when I find a good target. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for tuning in!
Great that you show close up of target trace,,any tips for moderate black wet sand.thanks mick.

Great work! I've also been busy, and have a stack of awesome finds already lined up for next week! No spoilers!
