Bro u blessed that pan with jet dry like it was holy water. Had me rolling. Good gold for some random spot on a gravel bar.. u got the boat id be searching for bedrock. Best bet will be a small atributary feeder creek coming into that big river. And again. That 4in. 😉
I know of a bedrock spot on the river I’m just waiting for it to go down I have another video coming out tonight at this spot for part 2 and man this place is loaded
I’ve had the gold cube Trommel I did really like it but I feel like the best way that I have tried is the high banker, when I had the dredge there I think I had it running way to fast and I was shooting the gold back in the river, I may try it again at slower speeds
The Royal highbanker is definitely my favorite little highbanker the only thing I want to do to mine is build a better wash box at the top I already extended mine with the another dream matt sluice and made it longer more capture zone just wish it would wash better I get clay stuck rocks in my area
I was thinking the same thing today, after all the modifications I did to mine I kind of want a crash box with the water shooting the opposite direction at all times so as soon as the material goes in it’s getting torn up with the water
You’d be much better off with a 3” dredge/ highbanker combo. I ran one in Alaska for years off a 4 stroke Honda motor. It will process material faster than you can shovel plus you have the dredge option.
@Kylethiemann right on! You and some others got me started with the gold. Have found one picker, and some pretty decent flakes now and then over in kc. Havnt done much river testing. But it's definitely in the creeks here! And I'll find a speck now and then and the family farm up by kirksville.
Or the shovel 1" narrower than the highbanker.... Why not put a 5 gallon bucket on top as a hopper. Just cut out the center ring on the bottom then shovel the gravel in. Keeps you from metering gravel at the top giving you faster cycle times.
I'm not a fan of the Royal. The material passes through it too quickly. I luv my Raptor 2.0 from Gold hog the hopper is about 8" deep, and it has a clay bar in it, which washes the material really well. My kids spoiled me with that beast. lol It's alot of work setting it up lugging it around, though
Keep going you are getting better every time.
Thanks I appreciate it!
Awesome Recovery Kyle! Cool Little Highbanker and some nice Chunky Shiny. Gold Fever Always Brother!!!
I love that highbanker !

@Kylethiemann can't wait to see it.
Here we go!!!! 💪🏽
I forgot to comment on part 1 😊great work Kyle
Thanks again !
Great recovery Kyle, just for the heck of it, I’d go deeper and do a test pan. Hadn’t seen you in awhile, nice to see you at it.
Hey thank you ! And I went back today I’m uploading the video tonight. Let’s just say I was in shock to see what was in that pan at the end
Would a small trommel set up be a better choice for the small gold recovery? With all that gravel

I dont shovel unless I have too. Ur crazy doing that sht for fun. But I am 44. 👍 and the tooth was a good find. I seen that.
It’s my daily workout lol
👍

Yeah i will upgrade eventually that would be nice, i do have a 4 inch proline dredge though.
Missouri river?
Yes !
@Kylethiemann amazing
How far have you been up the river? Asking from the west side of mo.
Furthest I’ve been so far on boat is New Haven

Doesnt it make sense to make the high banker 1" wider than your shovel?
Just sayin'
I mean I didn’t manufacture the highbanker I’m sure I can find a smaller shovel but it doesn’t bother me.
