I’m loving this!!!!! I was a freshman in high school when the Scene debut. I watched this show everyday after school!!! I think every high school student was tuned into WGPR channel 62 to watch The Scene! Wonderful memories!!!
We sir the new dance show and the early scene shows from1977-78 on Goldsboro NC's wyed channel 17( wcnc 17,NBC) new dance show on Sunday afternoons on oneo'clock. I lover the scene ,new dance show plays often bad music and perverted nasty dancing. Ewwwwe!
@Lektronikumuz The title I do Believe was The Scene Theme - the artist was johnny Griffih. It was released on vinyl in 1975, I do not have copies, & only person I knew had them just passed. Earnest Kelly Records

Beverly Rhett I remember it was on wor-. tv channel 9in new York,Saturday night right after disco '77. yes nat Morris praisr god you're here. but around 1992 he also guest on the new dance show when I was with my mother in North Carolina on Sunday afternoon, came back from church and on channel 17 wyed watch these whores wearing dress up to thier tail and swing their camel toe through the fabric, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that's disgusting!!!!!! but I remember when he guess host the scene.

I was born in 1976. Nice to find something from the year I was born. I grew up in Grosse Pointe Farms, and would watch TV 62, and listen to 107.5.

These dancers beautiful brown skin long hair nicely dressed with class prolly in they 60s now looking just as good as they looked in the 70s

@beverlyboo this show aired on channel 62 in Detroit from 1975 to 1987 and it was local. We did air in Albany GA, for a short while.
