Somethings you have to have to live on a boat to live comfortably : A working Head , pressurized water ( hot & cold ) , a table and cockpit cushions . Those items changed our life aboard . Great video good music .left me smiling !
Good thing I read this before commenting myself, because yes, there are things you need before going on an adventure. A working head is certainly one of those!
That statement is so subjective. One is projecting what think they need onto others. I am sorry this is what you need. But what isn’t really needed. So one can’t poop unless a flushing toilet. Hope that you always have a flushing toilet. Or you will be so backed up that can be poisonous. Just stating facts.
“Who’s going to take the first poop?” Perfect. I would’ve asked the same question, & my wife would’ve also rolled her eyes at me. I laughed aloud, literally.
To keep the bathroom doors in line, once the hinges are on and the door installed, you could glue a small piece of wood on the inside of the door frame opposite the side where the hinges are.
You guys should wear the safety kill switch strap on the outboard when you're in it alone. More than one person has been accidentally bounced out of their dingy which then circles and eventually runs over them causing serious injury / death.
Fantastic work being done all round. Yaba is starting to look like a luxury boat as things come together and get finished. Well done to all. Keep well and safe. James.
Well. Somebody has to say it! It's been a pleasure to watch you folks go from CRAZY boat buyers to refined cabinet makers, electricians and general all round boatwrights! Really looking forward to watching you become seasoned "big boat" sailors! Thank you for being who you are.
15:53 Who else got "Oh Brother Where Art Though" vibes in this scene? You know, when they were gathered 'round the campfire telling stories and gesturing?! 👍🏽
Actually sitting low on the toilet is a lot easier to go, than the normal height. We have a temporary low toilet, also the standard height one in the other toilet. I prefer the low one. Love the videos 👍👍
Vented loop, to keep odors down, make a charcoal filter to attach to the vent , can be made from PVC, lots of info out there in making them Also for the inlet , put a small ball valve that you can close when pumping, then open to prevent siphoning issues
Hello , great vid. The table is a awesome piece of fine wood working skill. You should be proud. 👍 You two have a beautiful boat and a fun and entertaining channel. Thank you
Don't leave the vented loop out! Put it on the pressure side of the pump. So in between the handle and the bowl. Volgende keer de handleiding lezen Ben ;)
I would get a piece of glass or plexiglass cut to go on top of that table to help preserve it. That way you can really use the table without damaging it. You don’t want to damage that beautiful piece of art.
Fantastic video and I love your background music, it's very happy with a great beat. It's been great to watch your progress each week. See you next week. Love !
If you have any more foam to cut, an easy and safe way is to use an electric carving knife and it cuts down on the shredding edges that a box cutter causes. Doing a fantastic job as usual. Good luck and be safe. Gary
That's a great step for your comfort isn't it? I love the sofa. Was the big back cushion in the starboard corner made on purpose for Duca? Anyway, all these enhancements are game changers. You will feel better, more relaxed. 👍
CONGRATULATIONS ON THE LEW PROGRESS ! THE BASICS 1st , WILL DO FOR A SHORT TIME ! NEXT STEP FRESH WATER ELECTRIC FLUSH NEXT AND A SEPARATE HOT AND COLD WATER SHOWER WITH A DOOR AND A BENCH SEAT AS SOON AS PRACTICAL ?
Admiração por vcs, mas ver o Ben cortando cada pedaço de madeira na plataforma balançando sem parar... isso sim é jogo de gente grande!! Yabá cada dia mais diva!!
Sometimes the water beckons after a gruelling day working,, creating the perfect bathroom etc!!!❤ Hope the empanadas were tasty!!! They looked delicious!!!🎉
I think a tour of the finished interior would be nice, which means you might have to make your bed and straighten up a bit. And good job on the Lew. Now there'll be no more waiting till dark to hang your butts off the edge or the boat.
2300 hours 30 June 2024 here in Tasmania Australia I can sit back relax and enjoy watching my favourite boat restoration thank you for the opportunity to view your vlog ❤❤❤
Hi,regarding your toilet I recently saw an article about going to the toilet, apparently we re doing it wrong,it said that the human body was designed to squat when relieving oneself, but doing it as we do is more comfortable and convenient.Your tender would be easier propelled with longer oars(thinking about your back).Yaba’is coming along very nicely, she is looking splendid.Looking forward to your next video,cheers.Roly🇬🇧.
Please invest in a pair of folding table top type sawhorses.... they're really cheap and will be a great game changer for doing anymore wood work or repairs in general.
AGAIN your episodes exceed all expectations. Good job . Hail to the queen of T. I will say this (only because I Love you guys) Here is my -do not read the instructions) how to start a cold outboard. Know that they flood very quickly so just flick the choke on and off to keep it running. Next know that it needs some throttle to start and stay running. and last you should give the gas primer one squirt to save the fuel pump. your pull cord will last for ever.
Still enjoying your work and glad to see you are not following other pod casters who start posting nonsense to stretch out videos. Love watching you work❤
👍👌👏 Congratulations 🎉 2) The Manta rey table looks amazing. It was definitely a lot of effort to build it but now you can enjoy a beautiful piece of art every day. Just like the panel with the sun inlay. Greetings from Germany. Best regards, luck and especially health to all involved people.
I LOVE YOU!!! 🧡🤍♥Thank you for ending my week with positive emotions every week! Now the most important question: Who used the toilet for poo for the first time? 🙄🤔
Well good morning to my beautiful and favorite Brazilian friend. Just adorable. You guys made me smile today See …little by little you are making progress MP what a great idea to rotate the toilet 💪🏼👍🙏🏻❤️
Yaba is looking verry comfy now......she is really comming to life....and WOW that table..., also the loo is looking great ben!! as alway's loved the episode , thank you guy's.... greetsz from friesland...max.... 😉😊💛💙
You two are so cute! You look so solid as a couple, and I find that heartwarming. ❤ the way in which you work together, separately, appreciate each other, and tease each other...I think you will have the most wonderful adventures together 😊. Oh, and your doggies...they are adorable, and it's clear that they're loved and considered in everything you do. The boat....wow! Gorgeous and tremendous workmanship, inspiration, and dedication. I enjoy watching the progress and each new project. We'll done...you've got a great channel!!! Best, Lauren (and my dog, Vinnie) - from Florida ❤
Watch air vents above the waterline. Its good until you are heeling under sail and its below the waterline. You may have to extend them to deck height, or even vent them overboard
It's always great to see one of your videos on a Sunday night. It takes my mind off having to go to work on Monday morning. Great work as usual guys 👍.
that look on MPs face could be wind hehe they say the height of constipation is toothmarks in the top of the bathroom door also funny great jobby Ben, definitely need to finish the head, bling it up with everything, a mirror so you can tackle that mustache
Have enjoyed your quest since you made the half sinking trip to the boatyard. So pleased that you are at the "comfort installation" stage of the build. You are a great team.
Congratulations, Ben and MP! You are now flush with success! 😂 A working head is a basic necessity on any boat and it is wonderful to watch you adding new capabilities and luxuries to Yaba, from a toilet to cockpit cushions. I heard you refer to Yaba as a “boat”, and while that is generically true, Yaba is actually a yacht in all that term implies of size, grandeur, and quality of construction and finishing throughout. She is most certainly a grand home for you and an amazing platform for your adventures with family and friends. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. 🙏👏
Its been awesome following you guys on this amazing adventure. I would like to see more of the local people of Brazil speaking their native language, and giving their insights about everything. Keep up the great work!
Think about velcro on the cushions so a surprise wind don't blow them a way maybe ! It looking g awesome.. How the dogs taking to living on the boat and have sea legs 🦵 😊
You two are the best! When you first started your adventure I totally thought you were in over your heads but you proved that wrong with hard work and great craftsmanship! You should be proud of yourselves because you accomplished the impossible turning an old sinking ship into a beautiful one of a kind masterpiece!!!
Ben and MP are such a wonderful love story - always brings a smile.
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Somethings you have to have to live on a boat to live comfortably : A working Head , pressurized water ( hot & cold ) , a table and cockpit cushions . Those items changed our life aboard . Great video good music .left me smiling !
Right? We’re just missing the hot water now
Good thing I read this before commenting myself, because yes, there are things you need before going on an adventure. A working head is certainly one of those!
@@pfalzgraf7527 Yeah, a trowel and a roll of toilet paper doesn't work so well at sea.
That statement is so subjective. One is projecting what think they need onto others. I am sorry this is what you need. But what isn’t really needed. So one can’t poop unless a flushing toilet. Hope that you always have a flushing toilet. Or you will be so backed up that can be poisonous. Just stating facts.
Congratulations on the loo. Every captain needs a throne 🙂
Thank you so much!

Getting the head working, and having the first meal together on the table…what an amazing episode
We were so happy with these latest improvements! Thank you so much Ian!
Fantastic work being done all round. Yaba is starting to look like a luxury boat as things come together and get finished. Well done to all. Keep well and safe. James.
Thank you so much James!!

You are so right ! What a phenomenal transformation of both the boat and her family ! 👍🏼
Yeah 😊😊
Happy wife, happy life . Great video, and have a fantastic week ahead. See you guys on next Sundays video
Thank you so much! See you Sunday!
Holds up picket sign.. we want sails. We want sails we want sails 😂
😂😂😂
Gelcoat doesn’t go over epoxy. If you use epoxy you have to use paint on top.
Let's hear it for comfort!!!! A head and cushions!! A table!! Awesome!!! Thank you for my Sunday morning coffee with Yaba!!!! ❤❤
Those 2 doggies are the cutest little monkey's ever.
Agreed 🥰
Make up you mind, are they dogs or monkeys?
15:53
Who else got "Oh Brother Where Art Though" vibes in this scene?
You know, when they were gathered 'round the campfire telling stories and gesturing?!
👍🏽
34:25 LOL, those "polaroid photos".
A moment to remember 😜
Actually sitting low on the toilet is a lot easier to go, than the normal height. We have a temporary low toilet, also the standard height one in the other toilet. I prefer the low one.
Love the videos 👍👍

Ben with moustache and glasses, looks like NED ...Homer Simpson's neighbor 🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
Hello , great vid. The table is a awesome piece of fine wood working skill. You should be proud. 👍 You two have a beautiful boat and a fun and entertaining channel. Thank you
Thank you very much!
You guys look flushed with success! Well done - great video of an essential installation! Congrats from Ireland
Brilliant Video! Your Puppies are so cute!
Thank you so much!
Those dogs are very impressive with how well they adapt to life at sea.
We admire both of you for all your fabulous work. Ben, your taste in mustaches leaves a lot to be desired. Did you lose a bet?
Don't leave the vented loop out! Put it on the pressure side of the pump. So in between the handle and the bowl. Volgende keer de handleiding lezen Ben ;)

The simple pleasurable conveniences: cushions, table top, head wjth cabinets.
Pastel de carne.....me deu saudades do Brasil.....Um abraço desde a Galicia🙋🏻
Wrap all your cushions in polyester batting. It will make the fabric covers fit nice and snug without any wrinkles.
Coming along perfectly oh you two lovelies. And now you have a "keeper of the toilet brush", well done
Doing and finishing the head should have been done before leaving! MP is an angel for allowing it to be so long!!
I happy for both of you!!!
Fantastic video and I love your background music, it's very happy with a great beat. It's been great to watch your progress each week. See you next week. Love !
The toilet brush scene was hilarious. Worst Fairy Godmother ever.
If you have any more foam to cut, an easy and safe way is to use an electric carving knife and it cuts down on the shredding edges that a box cutter causes. Doing a fantastic job as usual. Good luck and be safe. Gary
That table is GORGEOUS with the resin!!! I love it!!!
Good job, guys! You managed to keep it interesting and fun. You and the dogs are making the boat a great place to live and hang out.
That's a great step for your comfort isn't it?
I love the sofa. Was the big back cushion in the starboard corner made on purpose for Duca?
Anyway, all these enhancements are game changers. You will feel better, more relaxed. 👍
That smile at the end of the video... that's what love looks like. Print a picture of it so it never gets away!!

That squat is the natural way to take a crap.
Please invest in a pair of folding table top type sawhorses.... they're really cheap and will be a great game changer for doing anymore wood work or repairs in general.
Always been watching since the sump pumps were running 100%. Now you two need some priorities. A toilet or seat cushions. A toilet or salone table
AGAIN your episodes exceed all expectations. Good job . Hail to the queen of T. I will say this (only because I Love you guys) Here is my -do not read the instructions) how to start a cold outboard. That table came out wonderful. Great job on the toilet. Keep being awesome team.
That is a beautiful sailing vessel. You and the crew have done an amazing job with her.
Excellent work, that table looks as pretty as the two young ladies that were working on it, will be a joy to dine at it.
