- Learning to Ski in the Bavarian Alps! This was Val's first time ever skiing -- she got a private lesson at Skischule Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Southern Germany. We had a great weekend celebrating our one year anniversary!

Ahh, sooo much fun guys. Garmisch is surely my go-to spot.I hope to be there in a couple of weeks. I absolutely love it there. Most of the time I stay at the Edelweiss. It was fun watching this video especially Valerie's progress. :)

You all are naturals. Great job on the 'pie' Val. Learned to ski not too far away from GaPa in Oberammergau. Have loved it ever since. Two places I'd recommend: Obertsdorf (in Germany) and Val Gardena (Italian Dolomites, Ortisei is where we stayed, lovely village). Instead of investing in all the gear, invest first in a pair of boots. Spend a little more on getting a good comfortable boot (get it fitted by an expert). Your feet will thank you. Wouldn't invest in skis until you become a bit more proficient. Do upgrade your ski rentals to a performance package, something with a good edge.
Your Videos are very cool. To have some new gear you can buy it at the internet or Decathlon because it is a good quality too. Me and my familie are skiing each year and i can recommend Südtirol:)
