The Etios will always be a legend in this regard. Insane rear space. Insane luggage space. All in all great for a passenger to sit in and travel
Not sub-4m, so higher price as well - in comparison! And they shut the car down because it got the “taxi” image - which is a shame - because taxi drivers would have still bought those over the DZire / XCent.
@@AnishBhalerao Very true. I mean segments and all apart, just as a cab as a whole I meant the Etios is amazing. Also, talking out of personal experience, it becomes little confusing when I book Uber Sedan and I need boot space, and they send this small Dzire (even the diesel has a pretty small boot). It's so annoying xD

Everyone saying etios is great but this depends on government they gave only approval for specific vehicle, why they are not giving Virtus, Octavia, Rapid, City, Civic, Ciaz because they say this as luxury cars. But the same must be provided to taxi so that only for customer from other states traveling with huge luggage that can fit. But it's all politics.

No I don't have any problem Faisal sir talking about my car like this because it's absolutely true and I completely agree with his every comment and thinking about my car. Thank you for your concern but the truth is the fact. And I have purchased this car for some reasons one of the main reason is that there is no other vehicle available for t permit. Government should do something for this otherwise maruti will keep doing such thing.
@@a_m_gaming9328 u had an option of xcent right?? hyundai cars looks small from outside and on paper dimensions also small but when u get inside the car it is really spacious and comfortable than almost all suzuki cars...hyundai really does some magic in this particular aspect. hyundai eon rear seat also had way more space and leg room than alto/alto k10

@@adwaitsalve6531 I knew some stupid like u will come with ur so called 'facts'.. bs6 started by April 2020. Yaris was introduced in 2019 itself with bs4 engine. Etios was decided to be replaced by Yaris and hence Yaris was introduced. Design & manufacture won't be done within 6month - 1yr. It is not tough to replace bs4 with bs6 if Etios was needed with bs6, since most of the cars in market were retained with bs6.
Check the importance of Yaris Ativ - international model with 1.5L engine and also like Etios the Yaris also had hatchback versions too globally.. Toyota decided to discard Etios before bs6 norms were mandated.

while conversing with a tyre dealer, he told me that cabbies tend to put high milage strong bonded tyres for car like swift, wagonr etc, these tyres are more heavier and tend to put a toll on the engine, suspension , steering rack and most other components. with the advantages of more kilometers, they compromise with the ride quality and end up neglecting expensive service repairs.
I agree that diesel is a better drive especially for cabs. It has way better torque but I am always pulled away from buying a diesel car since it is valid for 10 years as compared to 15 years for petrol cars in Delhi. I so wish govt thinks it through and understands that newer diesel engines with Ad Blue are way better than before.
Actually new reports are saying diesel cars with ad blue might have better emissions than turbo petrol cars

We have a Dzire (2014) 1.3 Diesel. Its steering does self centre🤔, even at low speeds and even at slight turns. Stability too feels okayish at high speeds. This one because of a CNG tank maybe isn't that stable because of the lack of calibration. Rest the 1.3 mjd is still really really fun to drive, we never feel the need to upgrade even after all these years.

We also have dzire 2014 diesel but its steering doesn't really centre idk what happened in case of you.
@@savagegaming27 We have our alignment and wheel balancing done at every 3000 kms. Sometimes a little early as well like around 2500-800 kms. Maybe that helps a bit, but not sure if it's the only reason which may help in self centering.
@@siddharthsawangikar4810 idk about servicing details since my father takes care of the car. It has done almost 2.5 lac kms maybe that can be the case for bad steering idk.

No diesel cars are very hard to maintain. It's just that Suzuki ditched it first and now others will follow considering hybrids.
@@debasisghadai3633 diesel is easy to maintain. And a quite great mileage more than ur cng and hybrid.
@@ramnik4879 diesel might have a cheaper running cost but it's parts are hard to get at a price compared to petrol and other alternatives. Also servicing cost is higher when compared.
Tata Zest was most VFM and Capable Taxi even better than dzire , It even had a desiel. 😍❤️

Well in my opinion The Dzire Tour is a far more better cab atleast better than a WAGON R. Well in my most of the cab rides I sat on the front seat. Well the Dzire Tour on the front seat feels really good. Decently spacious and the superb NVH. The best part is engine. Very refined and sounds sweet. My favorite Taxi Dzire Tour

Yours points are ok but no use from manufacturer.
Taxi means it should be with a big boot but no car is available at present. Any for customer comfortable and driver comfortable no car till now introduced as taxi variant.
Maybe Ciaz , Belta, Amaze , Virtus , Sunny of 2023 models launched means they should consider for taxi variant. Private car or Commercial car for both of them , if the owner is eligible to pay down payment and pay EMI and do service they can provide but they are shortlisted only a worst list of cars for taxi.
And also the worst behavior of no audio system , no fog lamp , no remote lock , no power windows each and every cost cutting measure for taxi. We are ready to pay but they don't provide.
Very big issue of them is only taxi driver makes mistakes that's why they made a speed lock at 80kmph this is very bad , if a customer booked a cab for some emergency purpose at a last minute or at a NH for travel of 300km and above with 80kmph speed it is most disgusting moment
Agreed, They are incompetent for making diesel engines they were mostly dependent on fiat for them, they only made 2 engines 1.5 diesel and 800cc diesel in the celerio which was a 2 cylinder, they only have an expertise in making petrol engines.......

And yes for a 6feet guy(exceptions are always there) every car's space seems small I can totally relate, even u can find space issues in Innova too, so ignore a 6 feet guy height. And rattling noise is there even in a Mercedes, based on his kms driven and regular use on bad roads, so chill. Best taxi till date. ❤️❤️
