Nice! I gotta ask, why did you go with TP link omada instead of a more proven and durable solution like Aruba running instant os? The IAP315's can be found for like $20 now, and the AP375s for $100. Maybe put aps on what will be the un-used cpe poles?

I have about 200+ TP Link Omada APs out out The wild that I manage and only ever swapped out 1 under warranty. And even that one I emailed support with the SN and they had an express replacement out the same day. TP-Link gives white glove treatment to MSPs that resell and I stall their products and true lifetime warranty. 20 years in IT and I have never had the same level of customer service from any other brand or distributor. We get -25f winters, no trees to stop the insane winds, and I've never lost an outdoor AP.

@@JordosTechShack TP Link no longer offers lifetime warranty on anything other than Omada PRO (Licensed) equipment as of Sept 1, 2023. Look it up.

Where exactly are you finding these prices? The AP-375 seems to go for about 200 heavily used.

Two. We are not mormans, it's not a religious thing. We are poly and I am the hinge. I think the popular 2024 term is a "closed triad".
If you are wondering because of the other buildings. The 3rd matching cabin is my kids bunk house / play house. The larger blue building is our library. The shed with the caged in area off of it, is the chicken coop with a caged in run.

      Came here to ask this!
I heard "other wife's cabin" and I thought maybe I heard "wife's other cabin", but nope
If everyone is having a good time, sounds awesome!

You already have all the things done but if anyone else is looking at doing something like this, look at Ubiquiti equipment. Can't really speak that much on TP-link cpe's but in general for home equipment I've noticed tp-link has been selling some really garbage equipment to consumers lately. Like 802.11AC gear that have 100mbit ethernet. How TF can you sell something capable of 500-800Mb/s with a 100 backhaul?!

And even that one I emailed support with the SN and they had an express replacement out the same day. TP-Link gives amazing treatment to MSPs that resell and I stall their products and true lifetime warranty. Ubuquiti on the other hand, I have had DOZENS die under warranty, takes months to get it replaced sometimes, so I end up replacing them out of pocket for the client. Omada stuff is 200-1 for failures here, and the replaced in it 48 hours. Ubiquity is 300-25 in failure rate, and I replaced them all out of pocket because Ubiquity support is terrible. I got my firs MCP on win200/server 200, so I've been doing this a long time and TP-Link provided the best support I've ever gotten. I did mention the the video smaller CPEs also only have 10/100 ports but I knew that going in since its on the spec page, so yes they have done that, but its listed on the specs, and its on products 1/2 the price of the competition so you have to expect concessions made. I will admit kind of stupid for consumer stuff where they wont necessarily check specs.

I'll never understand Ubiquiti fanboys. I get rid of all my UBNT stuff because the firmware was janky, the speed was slow, and they kept pushing data collection.

@@UndyingShadow83 I worked for a wireless ISP that used ubnt almost exclusively. They provide fast speeds over huge distances if you configure them properly. Your one datapoint does not invalidate the 1000s of users out there that use these devices in a professional setting.
