    Greatest of all time! Baja is fun. Thanks again for the press and hold advise on that traction control ✌🏽😎

    I'm stuck in the snow! I had no clue how to use goat mode or even what it did. I knew my Bronco had to be tougher than it was behaving. I'm going back outside to see if I can get my bronco out of the snow. Thanks!

    A base bronco in slippery mode and 35s does pretty well in 4 lo .

  • @NataiX
    @NataiX ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Worth mentioning that a couple of modes behave differently depending on which 4WD system you have. Sport and Slippery default to 2H with the based 4WD system and 4A with the Advanced 4WD system.

    Hey Vaughn, what would you recommend for us Wildtrak (no stay bar disconnect or rock crawl mode) for a bit of rock crawling?

    The Bronco is a great rig from Ford, seems very capable like the old rigs back in the day if you knew how to drive. The traction control settings work similar to the setup in my 06 Charger RT. Turn off the button and it still kicks in when you get stupid enough, turn the key to start while moving for 5 seconds and it dings and ESP BASS shows on the display and traction control is fully disabled, allowing it to try to kill you, great fun.
    I've had to turn it back on before after a rain storm when it hadn't rained all summer. Car was so loose it kept trying to kick it around and pass me... 😱🤣

    Can you switch modes while you are moving?

    • @bordfronco
      @bordfronco 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes you can depending on if your going high speeds or not I would recommend going over 20 mph when switching to a 4x4 goat mode but switching to sport eco and normal will be fine at any speed

    Is it better to drive on road with 4A or 2H?

  • @GuitarsRule08

    Sport mode switches me to 4A. I just switch back to 2H and stay in sport. Is there any issue leaving it on 4A when in sport on the highway for example?

    Should I not exceed a certain speed with my rear diff locked in Sand mode (usually deep snow on back roads during a storm) or Baja mode? Also, which modes can I lock the front differential in and what is the point of locking the front diff?

    Can you change modes, e.g. from Normal to Sport, on the fly, or do you have to come to a full stop, then set to Sport?

    You say that sport mode puts you in 2H by default but my Wildtrak puts it in 4A. Is mine not shifting to the right mode or was this a mistake in the video?

    • @ec3886
      @ec3886 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mistake in the video, my OBx is 4A when in sport, although I do switch it to 2w at that point also.

      @VaughnGittinJr  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow that is wierd, my raptor goes to 2wd. I wonder if it stays in the drive mode that the vehicle was last in? Just checked the ford site and it also does not say that it goes to 4wd. Like it does the other modes. Thanks for sharing!

      It depends on which transfer case you have. If your Tcase allows for 4A then Sport mode will put you in 4A but you can shift back into 2 Hi. It does it for me too

    Wtf does goats have to do with traction control. Goat mode really? It's another throw away junk vehicle they make now.
