  • Todays off-road video was a ton of fun to shoot, edit and watch! Even with car problems, body damage and drone problems we had an outstanding time at Reiter Foothills. If you want to challenge your Jeep, Toyota, rock buggy, or your driving skill, I highly recommend this one of a kind ORV park!
BTW I get comments about tire pressure every video so here is the pressure we used.

Ive been wanting to thank you for not using the same generic editing software or more precisely music that every other TH-cam channel seems to use. It really does make your videos stand above others. Its kind of like your fabricating, it shows thought and care.
Curious what slow motion settings you are using(frame rate and I’m assuming 4k)? The video quality is excellent.
    Keep up the good work.

      Thank you!
For slo mo I use 120 fps at 720 p. Unfortunately my camera doesn't do full HD at 120 fps but it makes up for it in bit rate. It looks great for 720p but I'm saving up for a better body that shoots 4k 120 and ibis would be nice too 👍

@@DirtLifestyle Where do you get the music? Seems like there is one main source for royalty free music and that is why lots of videos use the same stuff. Yours is much, much different. Clearly not from some generic royalty free source.

You have always done a great job on editing your videos... BUT.. This one, was out of this world.... The slowmotion shots of the rigs bumping over, each at the right angle showing off the flexing action... You darn near had me in tears, it was that beautiful... The music, I personally, never heard those artist's before, but was sounding really good, I enjoyed the music. This video was TOP NOTCH SIR!!! This is really something to be proud of. Not that you don't or didn't have anything to be proud of before, rather, as a figure of speech, This video, was clean while passionately DIRTY, if you catch my drift.. WELL DONE.. for what it is worth... I watch the whole dang thing twice....

Reiter is an amazing place. I mainly run the easy trails in my JKUR on 37's.

The "rod knock" is a common thing on the XJ's that turns out to be the bolts holding the torque converter to the flexplate. You've never been happier to find loose nuts, but you're never sure that was the fix until you start it up and don't hear that noise any longer! :D

    Great vid!!
My TJ (2000) build is a long, drawn out process. But you and Muddy Beards are my reference for sure.
As it sits, it has the original D30/35 with 4.56 gears on open diffs. Running 35".
I'm about to embark into re-tubing a D-44 High pinion front. Couldn't find a 76 or 77 F-150 in my area to use, so had to buy a center section from ebay with cut tubes.
Already have the rear ford 9". It is about 75% complete (5.13 gears/grizzly locker/35 spline)
Then I start piecing together the parts for the long arm 4link/3link front.. etc. etc. etc.
    Thanks for the inspiration!

If ya don't mind me asking, what size wheel/rim are ya running? What back spacing? @@DirtLifestyle I welded in a piece of 1.5"' square stock at the bottom of the door. Keeping the door frame. Welded the same down to the frame and skinned with 3/16". Leaving around a 2" space to let mud and water out.
