I have a JD 1 1/2 and a JD 3hp engines and both now run. 1 1/2 was stuck when I got it from the homestead and the 3 hp had been frozen so had to weld the head but now they both work again. I think the mag on the 1 1/2 needs recharging.
Glad you were able to get them running again! Hopefully charging that magnet gets it running a little better.
