Go Kart Front End Alignment using Sniper Lasers robbinsracing.net/ #BriggsLO206 #LO206 #Briggs #BriggsRacing #GoKart #GoKartRacing #KartRacing #OTK #TonyKart
This is super helpful! One minor note is that the lines on the grid are actually 2mm apart. You mentioned that half way between was half a mm but it is actually 1mm.
What happens if your lasers don’t line up on top of each other at the beginning? Like 1 laser is 1 mm higher than the other. Does that mean the chassis is bent ?
Could be. Could be the stub. We bought our first new 2023 chassis this year and it didn't line up perfectly either. Maybe set the kart on the ground and jump in it so the king pins and pill bolts all settle in and re check the lasers

Great catch! I tired to shoot these without edits so the new Racer can get a feel for how long these processes actually take.
Curious, you didn’t mention sweep check or Caster check? Is it possible to do a continuation video with that?
Thanks Dennis, I will make that my next upload.
In Lo206, Ackerman is very important. Can be worth up to 1/2 second on lap times.
