The Batman continues to show why it’s on top of all other Batman movies. This has got to be the creepiest Joker that we’ve ever seen. Jesus this guy is terrifying.

What I love the most about this Joker is that you can tell he's a master at manipulation. Like yall said, he knows how to get under batmans skin, but he's also great at getting into people's heads. Joker knows Batman better than anyone. Their chemistry on screen is perfect! Can't wait to see more of Barry Keoghan in this role. It also makes the line Bruce says to Selina more impactful when he says to her "I have to try and safe Gotham." He's already dealt with Joker by that point which is mad and now Riddler, no wonder he doesn't wanna abandon Gotham yet!
I dont want Joker to be the main villain in a future Pattinson Batman film. I want to see villains from the comics that have never been done before. But will be cool if Joker stays in Arkham like a Hannibal Lector type character where Batman goes to him to have conversations like this in each movie
This is probably the most accurate version of Batman and Joker's relationship. Batman can't exist without Joker and vice versa with Joker. And they both know each other extraordinarily well. And good god is Barry every great as Joker. I'd love to see him get a moment in the light!!
I know Barry did, and will do, a fantastic job at this. It's just that Heath raised that bar so freaking high that you can't help but compare everything to him. And I think that's on me, as a young teen just starting to love Batsy and seeing Heath for the first time, that left me in awe and forever enamored by his portrayal. This is an interesting look on it. It seems that Matt reeves is going to keep that “villains based off real life serial killers” theme going and I’m excited for it. Good comment 👍🏽
Matt Reeves has said that this version of the joker has a Congenital skin disease he was born with instead of him falling into acid, he was always looked at differently because of the way he looks so he took it as the world played a cruel joke on him and he has a nihilistic take on the world (if you notice closely joker took a paper clip)
Yeah I don't like that. I think they should mix it. He should have a disease that forces him to smile. Bht he should also fall into the vat which further fucks him up like we see. Batman being the one to make the joker is such a better plot than him just turning up
@@anonymouslyunknown4811 it depends on how they conceive of the "chemical" could be a completely made up one...that is, depending on whether they decide to mix the chemical origin with his birth disease
Aside from him seeming extremely unstable, what I like about him is that he's extremely intelligent and he's basically a profiler, very much like Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs for Clarice. Which is why Bruce goes to him for some information on a serial killer. From what I understand Matt Reeves said that it wasn't like the Nolan trilogy where you don't know where the scar came from and he didn't fall into a vat of acid. In his case he was born with a disease that caused deformity, very much like the 1920's movie The Man Who Laughed, which is what the Joker"s based on. That he had a bad reaction to it and it messed with his mind and possibly some of the injuries are self inflicted. I like to think the blood on his hands could be either his own or perhaps from one of the wards or nurses of Arkham. He may have even picked at some of the wounds on his own mouth. It's definitely a congenital disorder that causes him to look like that. Because people stare at him so much he's gotten very good at reading people. I just love that he's intelligent and he can really get under Batman's skin. His laugh is spot ON! 👌

When joker told him that deep inside, he felt those criminals deserved it, batman didn't respond. Joker read right through him and put him in a position to even consider for a moment that joker was right. THAT makes him scary and dangerous! That's why he asked him, "you're afraid he makes you look soft?" He told batman that riddler was more righteous than he is. Riddler kills, batman doesn't. once riddler kills, the threat is gone, batman catches you, you get locked up with the possibility of getting out and causing more harm. More then likely they are sticking to the orgins. Joker fell into chemicals
Which is why his hair n face is messed up. I like this joker. But still can't compare to Ledgers joker
I think the burns might be from him falling into the chemicals at Ace Chemicals probably
i doubt he looks like that cause he did it to himself ,it looks like somthin happened to em he look how he would proably look in real life if he fell in the chemicals and lived,it looks like chemical burns,i love it, this joker is gonna b amazing i can jus feel it,this deleted scene isgold cant wait to see more of thiz version of mistaJ
Did you guys saw the 📎 missing from the pappers after the talk? 👀
they have said the joken IS in the next movie as one of the characters causing turmoil.
He secretly stole a paper clip.
I swear this Joker Reminds me of Fox's Gotham version of Joker Cameron Monaghan
