Today we are visiting a place that's linked to the Dark History of Cambodia. The Cheung Ek Killing Field, which is approx 15 km from Phnom Penh and is just one of the 343 genocide places spread all over Cambodia. This Killing Field is the largest among all other genocide sites.

@@TravelWithAbhiSu yes it was. Even worse was America and china backing them. And they held a united nations seat until 1993. And Saloth Sar (pol pot) never saw justice. Even denied it. Yet the Khmer rouge kept meticulous records to prove it did happen
Comrade Duch died in prison in 2019 or so. And one other higher up also was tried and sentenced to life in prison
Everyone knows how the world operates, and Everyone supports power. And, what is done then by Pol pot, placing mines everywhere is still affecting local people's life.
