- The Behringer Kobol Expander arrived this afternoon and this is my first 10 minutes trying it out with a 960 sequential controller. Ratcheting gates are from the Doepfer A-160-5 module. This is probably my favourite Behringer clone so far...
I was luke warm about this and ordered it on a whim but have realised it is a unique creative tool , great for bass tones and synced harmonics. Very happy purchase from the ever wonderful Andertons here in the UK. This video also features the Kobol expander:

This synth sounds great! I got mine some days ago and have been impressed ever since.
Yes I really like this one and my UBXa is coming tomorrow! Because the UBXa is not too deep I think I can have the Kobol and Pro~1 positioned behind it and easy to tweak...
Neat sounds! 👍👍👍👍👍
Lovely
Interesting
The original is one of the few synths I never found to buy in the 90s or never seen in person. This clone sounds good, maybe maybe too close to the Pro-One clone?
Quite different from the Pro~1 in my opinion but I like both.
if you have the money to spare on this hobby you will most likely not be disappointed and there are far worse ways to spend a couple of hundred.... especially since the resell value will be quite stable.
I have a real Pro-One but I do not find the hype on it. I prefer by far my fav mono SH 101.@@VykaarTones
The Sequential Pro~1 has uniquely clicky fast envelopes and two CEM3340 vcos and CEM3320 24db per octave low pass filter which can make great bass lines. I have a Tubbutec modified SH101 which also has a lot of mods done by myself to make it a live performance keyboard that can control other things by CV and Gate. One of my mods makes it transmit pitch bend and modulation on the CV out.
yes, the envelopes of the pro one are top, but I like most the sh 101, it sounds more vintage and fat and the envelopes are the best either. I love the MC 202 and I doubt about adding the tubbutec add, do you?@@VykaarTones
