Behringer Kobol Expander - Arp Test 2

  • Testing out some arp sounds on my Behringer Kobol Expander. Running through UAD reverb (AKG BX20 spring) and delay (Korg SDD-3000), compression (Distressor), and tape sim (Oxide). EQ'd with Eventide SplitEQ.

    Behringer is coming out with the keyboard version and the Polykobol. I hope they also release the Expander 2. What a stack of glorious sound that must be

    Just received mine today. Does not play nice with the MC-707 when sequenced from it unfortunately. Stuck notes lasting into infinity, even when unplugging the MIDI Cable from the Kobol.

      I got those stuck notes when mine first arrived - I bought a new MIDI cable and the problem went away.

      ​@@ChristopherGwinn Unfortunately I think it's the way MC-707 handles note off / Velocity 0 data.
      Running it now via a MIDI to CV converter and it's great.

    The sound from the Kobol let me always think on 1980’s docu series .
