People are sleeping on the ND D. At least aren’t talking about it. How is A&M gonna score? Biggest question of this game. Their QB? The sure thing is the ND defense is legit. Just not sure how A&M consistently scores enough points to win vs the Irish D
What has Weigman done against quality pass defenses? Let alone a top notch defense like ND. Tons of talent but hes starting 9 games, against alot of subpar talent.
Yah, respectfully, he like most National media.. think inexperienced =not good.. this O line is young, but lots of talent.. & sorry ND has many more explosion athletes on both side of the ball as a whole...thn TAMU... 🍀🍀🍀
Let’s be honest here, though, .. as ND fans. It wasn’t long ago that ND relentlessly promoted the enormous amount of experience on ND’s OL (pretty sure it was 2020). Can’t play this both ways. Experience matters or it doesn’t. It can’t depend on how we want to spin it. ND has lots of talent, but the OL issues are alarming. We’ll see how it plays out … but there are concerns. Whistling past the graveyard is not a plan.
@@dashx1103Fair enough. However, remember the point of the post. Inexperience isn’t the same as “not good” or not having talent! Would ANYONE prefer both? HELL YES! However, don’t forget that the interior is going to be solid to very good this year. They told last year’s starter at center “ thanks but no thanks!” Zeke is now a starter and CAPTAIN at NCST. He couldn’t get his job back from an “ inexperienced” Ashton Craig….RS Freshman….! Some folks wanted Billy Schrauth to start LAST YEAR as a true freshman. He takes over for Spindler. Sam Pendleton beat out last year’s starter Coogan for left guard. WAY less experience…but they’re all just as big, more talented and athletic than last year’s group. The TACKLES are “what if’s”! Definitely not “whistling past” it. However, if we’re honest (and listening) A&M has WAY more “flux” on their o-line than ND does!
Great podcast!!

Conner Weigman.
Go Irish 🍀
Gig’em Aggies!
Georgia Tech scored on FSU’s D line so ND should easily score on the Ags. 24-10 Irish ☘️
Somebody messed him up = Tommy Reese

Experience matters especially in the trenches.

Sorry turned it off half way…
Why bring him on if you’re just going to explain their whole team to him and not ask questions so he can explain it all.. lol 🤦🏻♂️
From 22 min on the Aggie guy did a lot of talking, esp about WR and skill position weaknesses.
