@RICK H that's all good and dandy but say the same about ANYTHING ELSE he brought up. Gas may have periods of ups and downs, but no way you can argue LUMBER and MILK do that. Inflation is coming, is obvious, you cant spent trillions of dollars and expect nothing to happen. Every country that has hyperinflation started by printing their way out of a problem.

The scary part is how you listen and how you think. Play the clip again because the economy was already going downhill 24 months before Biden even took office. @@johnbausch7557 I agree and have to point out that government is very slow moving. No matter who is in office and no matter what policies may change: it takes time. It takes even more time to see the result (if any) of those changes. Believing that a single person (The President) has the ability to make long-term significant changes and that results of those change can be seen nearly immediately after a Presidential change is ridiculous. It indicates the original poster has no clue how the government machine works. On a side note and to the point of the video: I'm anti-waste in government but the examples Rand Paul used were for the most part very low budget programs (under USD: $1,000,000). It takes a million such programs to equal One Trillion dollars. I'm not saying those programs should or shouldn't exist but the effort required to scrutinize a million such programs is far less efficient than cutting out a small percentage from larger bills. I view these smaller expenditures like playing the lottery. Maybe 99% of them are useless but some small percentage gives us something really useful. These are cheap programs compared to others. There's plenty to cut everywhere, though. The question isn't: "What programs do we need/how much do we want to spend on t hem?" The real question is: "What amount of money do we have to spend? Figure that out and spend that amount or less."

We stop pumping oil and look the other way when gasoline price jumped like mad...and are all too happy to pay higher prices for everything...What is wrong with America? I guessed 2.5% on milk, 8% on bread and because of my region where gas prices flux less wildly I only guessed 27% but being as I was so close in my head, this is probably pretty close to accurate for my area of the country, and F you I'm not telling y'all where I live, gotta look out for myself in this economy.

In the Old Kingdom days though that got fed up with government overspending stopped paying tax's in England Peasents didn't go to work or open their shop, so they didn't have to pay taxes to the King of England! That works just as well today as it did back then, if you don't make money you can't pay taxes. Edit pay your property tax though as cities counties and states can take them back. You don't have to pay income tax though.
Your last sentence should have you questioning the legitimacy of voting. Sure voting can be legitimate when all the people involved consent, freely, non coerced. But if you say " no thanks, i don't need a leader, i am responsible for myself, and that is why i won't delegate my responsibility or authority to your questionable politicians, by voting for them" the criminal organization will punish you and throw you in prison. I work for a company that does a lot of shipping to and from overseas. The price of securing a container on a ship has gone up triple in the last year.
More than that. From just a couple of thousand to close to 20,000. When that boat got stuck in the canal, all other ships ended up backed up waiting in line out in the straight. Once the containers were unloaded, they didn't get filled and reshipped back out. there is a shortage on boxes as it is. Now with China holding the containers and not shipping out there money makers. The things that many other countries would normally buy are being held back as China's way of controlling export/imports. China is seriously doing their best to cause economic break down globally. I just want to know who was it to keep watch. How has our government allowed, and helped the CCP to do this to the world . Biden was paid off to help the CCVP. Pelosi pitched in funds to Hunter, and China. The evidence was/is on her laptop. That's why all that bullshit happened on Jan.6. Pelosi did it to make a distraction, and a way to have her laptop come up missing. Hell, Look what Hilary had a mysterious fire the day before her court hearing.
