- The North REACH is a new 3 strut Freeride serie. Tested the REACH besides the Duotone EVO. For years one of the most populair freeride kite. How do they perform side by side. With a surfboard and twintip. The wind dropped a bit but we still get a good impression.

The Reach is my favourite foiling kite - super stable and light pressure

Duotone Evo 100% better! I love Evo for my big air progression this season! Nice for kite loops and tricks!! Wohaaa
Franklin Lopez can’t agree. The Reach is much nicer in my opinion. But hey, that’s why we have different kites, right?
@@Charleskallin why do you think it is nicer? I want to buy a new kite and am torn between Pivot, Rebel, Evo and Reach but I think its gonna be either the Reach or the Evo
@@zomo_215The Reach has an amazing light, nimble feel in the air that just keeps giving! It really does inspire confidence.
I've used it for everything from overpowered loop sessions to lessons. I'm super impressed by this kite.
I'd recommend getting the 2021 Navigator bar. It's nicer than the 2020.
Hello, where is the video where you compare the Orbit and Rebel. you also mention "how the orbit is built" where can I find that info.

What kite would you say is most similar to the North Reach, in terms of bar feel and flying characteristics?... Is it similar to a duotone dice? Cabrinha Moto?

@@Kitefinder Since Naish Pivot is high performance freeride kite it would be interesting to compare it to high perfromance freeride kite Cabrinha Moto. I think it's a second year for Moto and its time to put a hand on it :)
Hi I’m from Argentina and I always see your fantastic videos. I have a north rebel 2018 and I will change for a new one soon, so I want to ask you which one of the rebel or orbit 2020 take you higher and more hangtime?

The 2020 Rebel will shoot you higher. It's a more proven and tuned kite serie. But like always, test for yourself. It's all about the total set of kite characteristics. Big difference between the Rebel and Orbit is the bar feel.

Yes.. I'm in NY and they take 20 percent off VAT or their tax from the price you see. So I got a 14m kite for like 650 USD. Just wondering if you think it's good quality before I buy another one. Hahahah
@@ssabin123 Hi Sam, we know Takoon is there since I believe 2002. Former Wipika designers and crew stepped over and started Takoon. Haven't flew them the last 15 years, so can't say anything about the durability.

Which size of Evo to choose for 13-20 knots ? 10m or 11 m ?
I am 66 kilos with the equipment on and I own also a Duotone neo 7m . I want to have only these 2 kites
11m for the low end. The 10m if you like a more palyfull kite
I ride my Evo 10m² from ca 17 up to 25kn max. 77kg
Same question for 80 kg, 11 or 12? I actually want a more playfull kite but not sure if 11 would have enough power for 13-14 knots. I also wonder does reach has better windrange in terms of low end. Thanks for the review by the way 🤙
@@tunakizal A friend of mine is 82 and has Evo 11m and now he is selling that for a 12m. I would choose totally 12 in your case.
