    I like to loop my 8m rebel no real issues ... the backstall is the biggest issue with the rebel. The main reason I hardly use it nowadays ,my 5 cents , great videos 🙏

    Thanks for all the great video's, helping a lot! I'm wondering if there's a possibility to compare the F-One Bandit 2020 vs. Duotone Dice 2020?

    Appreciate the video! Would love for you guys to do a comparison between wake/kite boots. Theres not much info anywhere how for example ronix compares to slingshot in terms of wet/dry weight, mounting system etc. There is also the LFK & Hiker Boot from Liquid Force or Cabrinha H3's... So many products and barely any reviews! Cheers

      Thanks mate. I don't know when I'll find the time to build a boots video. In the meantime, happy to share my experience. Ronix boots tend to fall apart from the impact of kiteboarding. I have no idea why but they usually only last me a season. Slingshot makes amazing boots. My KTV's are two years old. I've used them for kiteboarding and recently I ride cable daily with them. They still look completely new. they also weigh a ton. I stoped using them to keep my travel bag lighter. Regardless they are the most durable boots I've ever had. Now, I'm using the LFKs. These broke in nicely after two months and I find grabs are easier with them. They tend to be lighter and I prefer them for travel. We'll see about the durability this year. The H3's are comfortable. I dig the Velcro straps and they feel similar to the LFKs. Flexy and very light. Hope that helps! - Rygo

      @@MACkiteboarding cheers rygo! Definitely helped. Do you guys know anything about a new kite specific boot from LF? Had a chat with a team rider not too long ago, he said something about a 6x chassis coming this season? :D

    Firstly, I love my Dice now. But it was my first kite (12&9m) and it was not good to learn on. It’s harder to get up wind and definitely does not have a broad wind range or a lot of depower. That said, once I learned how to use both my board edge and my upper body to hold the kite down, I feel comfortable with it at the top of it wind range. It also doesn’t rip you downwind so it’s great for learning downloops and kiteloops without jumping super high. I’m a Dice fan 100% now

    The main reason I love the rebel is wind range, and ease of use. It's easy to end up creating bad habits though because of this.

    Nice review:) im searching for some 7m bigair machine and im not sure what to buy...dice or rebel..and i mean for overpowered storm sessions...never had the dice or rebel.. now i have 9m evo but for storm sessions im thinking for smaller kite one of these two should be better..mybe rebel should be better for jumping but what about looping.. 7m is quite small kite so it should work anyway.and with dice u can fall down really fast in some gusty conditions.what do u think? Thanks🏄‍♂️

      I've got a 6m² core xr for that purpose. I switched to it last Sunday when I got seriously overpowered on my 10m² Evo. I love it! Huge wind range and abnormal hang time❤️

    @MACkiteboarding cheers for the vid, bought my 9m 2020 dice last year off the back of this having ridden rebels for years and am loving it! My question is what about the 12m? For those low end sessions is the grunt of the rebel something I'm going to miss? I was thinking of going 7 & 9 dice then throwing a 12 rebel 2021 in for some floaty fun in the low stuff? Is the 12 dice as fun? Appreciate your thoughts!

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 13 dice was my favorite size actually. It won’t have quite as much power as a 12 Rebel. It makes up for it with the feel mention in this video. Tough to say though! What kind of riding do you like? - Rygo

      @@MACkiteboarding appreciate you taking the time to reply dude, thanks! Until I bought the dice mostly pretty old school freeride...heading out to jump big and play with rotations nothing really in pop but now doing raleys, no send back rolls and pops and starting to work on loops...so in a bit of a state with choosing here! Is the dice 12 or 13 really going to allow me to have a freestyle session in low wind or should I stick to playing with a floaty grunty kite in those conditions? I'm 90kgs and ride the duotone Jaime 139

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At 90 kg a floaty kite would help. It depends on how low you want to go! A 15 juice is actually fun in low wind situations! You can still do backroll kite loops or unhooked freestyle. The Rebel would be a good middle ground between the two. We were always surprised at the power per size. That said, I always went 10, 13 dice and a 15 juice personally. - Rygo

    I am planning to get another Duotone Dice,, but my friends are trying to push me into getting the Ocean Rodeo Razor (which I have never tried) any feedback would be appreciated

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice! I'll admit I'm a huge fan of the Dice. It's my choice kite in their range. I've not tried the Razor and at the moment, we do not carry Ocean Rodeo so I have no way to try one. I checked it out and it seems to have a unique shape compared to the other freestyle kites available. I don't know how that impacts the Razor. Wish I could be more help on this one. - Rygo

    I like my duotone dice 2019 riding on hard settings, it's easy to kiteloop or megaloop, but I want more power in kiteloops. Which kite you can recommend as a natural progression with more power? Thanks

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Stepan Kuzmin Cheers. The only progression beyond kites like the Dice or the Fx would be the Vegas. Try one first. - Rygo

    You talked about beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. How would you define those?
    Right now I‘m at transitions. Not jumped transitions but like heelside, toeside. I‘m good at riding upwind already. I have like 20 full days on the water in different conditions. Would I be a beginner or already intermediate? Someone recommended the dice to me and I like a direct feel. So I‘d combine it with the Jame board from Duotone. Of cause trying it out and stuff.

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats awesome. Sounds like you are coming along nicely! To your question. Everyone will define those differently. Including yourself overtime as you grow as a kiteboarder. The Dice is a better fit for riders who want to be more in control of their kite and also want to unhook and do powered kite loops. Those are the big draws to the kite. You might not fully appreciate it for another year or two of riding. That said, there is no reason you couldn't use one now! It might be a little more challenging but you would grow into the kite. We live in a great time with gear! Hope that helps. - Rygo

    good video, but I think you'd be better off comparing both of these to the Evo, since the Rebel is just such a niche kite
