    Love Loupedeck, couldn't afford CT, so bought Live which has the same buttons apart from wheel, smaller for my desk too. In relation to dodge and burn have you ever tried creating a blank layer, blend mode soft light and fill with 50 percent grey. I then select dodge and burn tools set at around 5-8 percent? Gives very subtle effect. Do of course love your editing, it's superb.

    Awesome edit! I absolutely agree with initially colour correcting/adjustments with DPP4 if your using Canon. The native colours in DPP4 are catered to the Canon sensor and Adobe colours is not the same. Most people with Canon start off with Lightroom, but they should be using the DPP4 software.

    Should have been titled "Loupedeck Review." Is using the Bracket Keys to change brush size that inconvenient? I'm a neophyte, but tried your last "trick": Creating a levels layer, raising exposure, then inverting. I like it! Had been using Selective Color Layer, selecting the subject, then increasing the Blacks in the background to create contrast between subject and BG.

    • @IreneRudnyk
      @IreneRudnyk  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, using Loupedeck for brush size is that much better than brackets. The same way that using a tablet is better than a mouse while editing

    Can you go into a bit of detail about your Unsharp Mask action? When I run unsharp, it simply applies it to the layer I have selected. Yours seems to be creating a duplicate layer and adding a mask. But even more confusing is that the preview on the layer yours creates looks more like a high pass than an actual copy of the source layer. Thanks!
