    Nice. Just a few suggestions on Easy Skin tip: 1.: No need to copy the background layer, just use new empty layer 2.: Set your eyedropper "sample size" to something like 31x31, to get more representative color. You were using "point sample" so picking a single pixel color. 3.: Once you set your eyeropper sample size right, you can pick new color with brush, just hold Alt / Option to pick a new brush color, no need to take eyedropper every time. Cheers

      @@IreneRudnyk and pls. set the layer to "color" in order to keep the structure.... i would prefer not to do this quick'n dirty technique at all... or at least not talk about it ;o)
      Just take more time and do it with proper dodge and burn... i like that you use gradients.... but add a saturation layer as well, group them and mask the group. Because darker areas are more saturated, so you need to correct this...

      that the new colour is brushed in ok, but it loses the texture of the original area, what am I doing wrong, please.
      I end up with a face with very little texture.

    Why not use the lens distortion correction when importing the raw file? That fixes lens distortion automatically and properly. When correcting skin color just change the brush mode to hue and it is much easier to fix that issue with less chance of overdoing it and you do not affect detail at all. Blemishes are easier to remove with smart heal brush.

    Thx for the vid, but I would neverrrrr stretch or liquify an image so much. Shooting wide and cropping in, or using the "content Aware" fill are always much better options over stretching an image. Stretching and liquifying loses clarity, and should only be used as a last resort.

    • @IreneRudnyk
      @IreneRudnyk  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      the content aware usually doesn't work for such big areas, and i am stretching only the sides, it doesn't really effect the quality.

    Adding more hair?...making neck longer?... I can’t believe this is modern photography. This is teaching a person to lie about herself/himself. The photographer is teaching the person not to appreciate herself as natural as he/she is. Sorry, I simply hate this method. I can accept changing brightness and contrast, but changing the physical form is a lie!

    • @IreneRudnyk
      @IreneRudnyk  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      modern photography? people have been manipulating their image since the very beginning. Whether is was putting Vaseline on the lens to soften the skin or painting over the negatives and scratching off the imperfections. Take a history lesson.
