Love the content Dan and Chris, great work.
    Also love your home setup!
Did you paint your mini’s yourself?
Any chance of a close up in one of the videos? Thinking of painting mine.
Also, where did you get your battle mat? Great idea for doing away with damage markers.

I got the battlemat from this Etsy store (www.etsy.com/shop/OldStoneDesigns) and had it printed by this UK company (patriotgames.uk/).
Let me know if you want anything else :)

Minor detail in the round 5 Fleet Battle: Cannot retreat to imperial loyal rodia because Nal Hutta is rebel loyal at the time. would have given u another turn holding off cut supply lines (if he had it).
Also, contrats to Chris for a Dearhstar kill. took me almost 4 months of playing before I killed my first one :)

Haha well if Chris was right here and it was his first. It's been almost 5 years. Our first game was May 2017 :)

Every video Ive watched on this channel so far uses the base game initial setup. What's wrong with the expansion setup?

Mixed opinions on this one. But if you use the RotE setup and a specific deal of starting systems is given, then the rebels can have their worst games ever and it's not fun. The setup is for empire to have Saleucami (so adjacency to Mon Cal) and then put the DSUC in Degobah (adjacency to Utapau). This gives them a turn 1 subjugate of both Mon Cal and Utapau. This then denies the rebels Mon Cals unless they luck out and have a good action card or starting mission.
So it just creates a much higher chance that the rebels have no board presence. There's usually no better remote system than Degobah for the DSUC.
However a really good popular house rule is that if the Rebels start with Mon Cal and the Empire doesn't start with Saleucami. Then the Empire can call to have a RotE setup. Because otherwise the rebels are now likely to get both Mon Cal and Utapau.
So it's a bit of a balance thing to try and not give the Rebel player the worst game or too strong a game.

@@DanThorpeGamingWithIdiots Ah I see. How about DSUC can't be on Dagobah? And what's with the ROTE mission decks? You once mentioned the rebel one is way too strong.

@@nicolaipietrzyk6538 people do house rule that too but if the Mon Cal adjacency isn't available for Empire but Rebels have Mon Cal, then you really shouldn't ever pick somewhere else
As for missions, the Empire RotE deck is just as good as the base. I'd happily play either. But the Rebel RotE deck is definitely weaker. Fun to try at times but you get more consistent games with their base deck.

@17:19 Why can the rebel player choose to remove the sabotage marker in Mygeeto?

He achieved the objective card "Seize Control," which reads: "Play after you win a space or ground battle in a system that contains a sabotage marker. You may then remove the sabotage marker."
