    I'm just impressed that the plane didn't breakup when they hit the water. The pilot at least kept it wings level, but it sounds like that's the only thing they did right.

    You don’t know what may have been in that guy’s carryon, whenever I travel I carry my medication in a lockbox in my carryon and without it I will be in no condition to travel (and because one of those prescriptions is a controlled substance, it would be extremely valuable to thieves and looters). So even if I’m in an emergency situation, I’m damn sure gonna take my carryon if at all possible, within reason, but at the same time, in this situation, I would just put it on my back and go go go just like I would without it, all my important meds are already in ziplocs when I travel so no need to worry about getting wet.

Until they get there it's my scene and you'll do what your told. In one of the youtubes about the old seaplane liners, there's an interview with an old man who was crew on such a plane. He says he'd rather be in a seaplane anytime, even flying over land, because any spot of water is a survivable and probably recoverable emergency landing, and even on land you're better off in a plane that's designed to hit the water on its belly at flying speeds, because a land plane breaks apart if it's not on a perfect runway.

      Yeah that looks like one of the rescue team's bags. That's a really common bag in the military, so it wouldn't surprise me if it's from the boarding crew and he realized it would be too cumbersome in the tight spaces of the plane.
      Though, that advise about leaving your carry on, 100% leave that thing. Its not worth your life, and it's especially not worth the lives of the people behind you.

    My grandad brings all his meds in his Carry on bag- that’s where most people have there important stuff that’s could possibly save there life

    • @Sashazur
      @Sashazur 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      He can replace his meds, or they can administer them at the hospital after he’s been rescued. But when a plane is burning or sinking, any delay could cause multiple deaths. Would he want that on his conscience? Worse, would he want to be one of the victims who couldn’t get off the plane in time because someone in front of him slowed things down to grab their stuff?

    Worrying how many people in the comments are saying they would stop to take their luggage, look at Aeroflot flight 1492 where people died unnecessarily because of other people being selfish.

      Ummm excuse me. But if the plane crash lands or ditches in the ocian. And i take my personal bag and someone dies. It’s not my fault! It’s the pilot’s fault or the fault of the plane. Also! You don’t know why people take there belongings, there whole life might be in that one bag and it might be worth the risk to them. Don’t be judging until you’ve been there.
