I've been following this playlist since its beginning. And, honestly, the terribly bad dad jokes are the best thing ever hahahahah congrats on your good humor and thank you for sharing your experiments!!! I'm building my cockpit thanks to your videos.
Excellent work Trevor! I look forward to implementing this in the sim. Speaking of the project - Sorry I have not contributed lately. My father passed away and I’ve been handling his estate. The clock was next on my list and now I don’t need to! All small instruments are complete now which is a huge milestone for the project! Again excellent work!!!
Makes me wish my cockpit wasn’t setup lol…awesome job. I used the same lcd, just out outside temp and voltage in it though. Didn’t feel like going through the entire setup this time?
Hi Shade Tree Home Sim! I was thinking about your LCD module when I was designing this, I like how sleek yours looks. I'm debating filming a config video sometime as I still need to do the X-Plane config but the code too but it just took so long to do that I figured nobody would have the patience to listen to me ramble for hours.
I looked into that (and it'd cover the entire screen area) but decided not to because of the footprint it would require (I didn't want to cut area to the left of the clock because it would weaken the panel)
This is the one I got: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08X9V5K2V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I think I remember getting it for around $20 so you might want to shop around to see if it's a good deal
Bob Me again. When I turn the engine off the VOLTS goes to the .( what ever the . volt reads) number and don't show the numbers before the . (Whole number)
And the legend is back

I'm so glad you like them! I wish you the best of luck on your homecockpit!

All these puns are tick ing me off, hehehe, great clock going to have to make one my self
Well, don't let them 'alarm' you 🙃
Keep me posted on how your clock goes!
@captainbobsim that was a really lame pun.
Bob, Have you tried this with a 2004 screen? Think it may look more like the real 1? screen size that is
I looked into that (and it'd cover the entire screen area) but decided not to because of the footprint it would require (I didn't want to cut area to the left of the clock because it would weaken the panel)
Can you do a update on your flight simulator and are you almost done with it
I definitely am overdue for an update :) I'm not quite sure if I'm close to done or if I'm decades away quite honestly 🙃
@CaptainBobSim thats how these things go huh? I never feel my projects are finished either
@@sethawolfe Hey Seth! Long time no see! I do agree :) Sometimes it is fun to not have a deadline 😁
Where did you get the screw driver?

Try putting in a conditional statement using a config reference referencing if the engine turns off. I'll add this to the dev list too.
@@CaptainBobSim Not sure on how to do this, When I try to reference Engine turn off its not there in the drop down box
Are you making a separate output row that reads out the engine status?
@@CaptainBobSim Tried but cannot find a preset
Hi Captain BoB, can You please make a tutorial on using multiplexers on arduino to mobiflight?I'll be glad!!
That sounds like a good idea! I'll have to order some and play around with them
was it intentional?
Was what intentional?
