Turtle Canyon is where the turtles get their shells cleaned by the fish and is one of the best snorkeling spots in Waikiki.
How do you get there? By boat!
We jumped on the 8:30am snorkel cruise with MOANA CATAMARAN...and it was so much fun! The visibility was crystal clear - would definitely recommend the 8:30am (over the 2:30pm) for the best snorkeling visibility. We saw tons of turtles & got a surprise guest (dolphins!!). Dolphin sightings on the south shore are very rare as the dolphins live over on the West side of the island (popular for dolphin watch tours). Needless to say, we were so stoked we woke up early for this tour! What a great day!!

Hello. It would be a dream come true to swim with sea turtles. There are so many tours to choose from. I’ve watched your videos and you have done a few. Which one was your favorite? I’m going soon for the first time and can’t wait. :)
This one was definitely one of my favorites! I liked that it was outside of the hustle & bustle of Waikiki. Plus, this catamaran was bigger so it had shade. Another option that is locally in Waikiki is the Holokai Catamaran (th-cam.com/video/hfmNM2RJNTI/w-d-xo.html). Holokai is a beach catamaran and might be a great option if you don't want to drive/taxi/Uber to this harbor. Holokai, like most beach catamarans, does not have a covered cabin (no shade/cover!) so make sure to wear lots of sunscreen 💯☀️
