On your Welcome Screen shows GM Chu Shong Tin a respected Wing Chun Master with students around the world. Are you saying he is fake? This is very serious because in Kungfu a Master is like a Father. Please clarify your intentions! 🙏
I saw him explaining that due to some medical condition, his right arm is underdeveloped and cannot be used for fighting, and that's why he is using only his left arm.
@@mariusmioc3045 I think David wants to show the commentator's left-right weakness. He hits him with his left arm the whole time. But that way you generate comments for the algorithm, and I have to admit that triggered me too.
He did have two right arms, at 8:23 the announcer said _"a quick right hook to the jaw"_ So he never had a left hand, that was his right hand punching. He also has a right hand tied behind his back.
I don't think people realise what an amazing and brave man Xu Xiaodong has been. These idiots have tried to ruin his life outside the ring but he has fought back and exposed these so called 'masters' for what they really are.
He has also been banned by the government from various places. They have lowered his social credit score so low that he's not allowed to by train or bus tickets AND his children aren't allowed to private schools and have to go to a government school.
Imagine being a student of one of these fake ‘masters’ and watching your sensei get knocked out like he was a helpless rag doll, and realizing all the time, money, and the fact that all you learned will only get you really hurt! These guys deserve every blow and then some for their dangerous bs lies.
@@theosalvucci8683 99% of them are practicing fantasy based martial arts made up by people who never fought and passed down by people who never fought. Traditional martial arts practice in China has plummeted and MMA is the most popular followed by Sanda after all these defeats.
@@kagyu1 It's sad to hear that interest in traditional martial arts in China has plummeted. There is no substitute for sparring. You just have to do it in class, and then you have to spar people in other styles. I see more Wing Chun in early Mike Tyson than I did in those videos. The Chinese have been reluctant to teach non Chinese and that is still a problem even after Bruce Lee. But it is still dumbfounding. It's a shame. The good Chinese techniques are abundant, but no one seems to know how to apply them.
@@theosalvucci8683 it’s the best thing to happen to Chinese Martial Arts. It ends up the reason things were “secret” is because they were fake based on myth like the non existent southern Shaolin. Now that the reckoning has come , it’s been a national loss of face and the fake stuff is being tossed aside along with fake training . Many of the styles were made up to cash in on popular street novels in the 20’s. People are now training seriously. Sparring seriously. The Shaolin monks train to entertain, not to fight.
@@kagyu1 I know. But in my mind, there are an abundance of good techniques within these styles and it only takes someone who really knows how to take what appears to be dance and translate it into something that is effective. I once went to a Dan Inosanto workshop and he was talking about what is flowery. He did a move in the air which did look flowery, explaining how it was a throw. I knew the move. OK, it wasn't Chinese. It's a Kali throw called "the Sail", but I used to get the move in during sparring, and I was mediocre at best. I think the same is true of a Chinese move like "ride the tiger". It's not the technique, it's the teacher.
The ironic thing here is that some of the fighters who challenged these "masters" were bad themselves, telegraphing their movements and whatnot, but these "masters" were so bad that they still lost either way.
@@Radrook353 they do work against someone fighting in the same style with the same rules. A boxer would likely lose to a wrestler on the mat, but would knock the shit out of him upright. MMA did finally knock some wind out of the imagined superiority of super-grandmasters of X martial arts, even if they’d be unbeatable in their own competitions.
its because of the sensei /senpei mentality in asia. its the same at work. many older people just have higer ranks because they are older. they will have a lot of underlings who follow what they do even when its complete bs. even when younger people can do it better. i believe thats why so many young people follow these clowns in asia. its because they still believe that if they are old, they somehow have mastered something. from early age they get thought that they have to respect their elders and that everyone older than them is automatically right. even when the young people can do something better at work they still have to do it like their supervisor does it, even when its inefficient. thats why i believe that many of these so called masters really believe they can fight for real. its because they get constant reinforcement from their underlings. its like a incompetent boss will never get criticized in asia and the underlings give him positive reinforcement..so these boss will think he does good work.
Many years ago, I worked for a small city law enforcement agency. As part of our yearly mandatory defensive tactics training, we were introduced to "ground fighting". It was basic jiu jitsu principles/tactics designed to help us defend ourselves if we ever found ourselves on our backs during a scuffle. Our instructor was a pompous narcotics lieutenant who bragged of his skills and many accomplishments that justified him being our sensei for the day. I felt as if I were in the presence of a skilled master. During the training, we paired up and practiced the techniques. I recall a portion of the training as having the goal of escaping from a bottom position while mounted from above. My partner was a polite, early 20's stocky, physically fit corrections officer. He obviously took it easy on me as I was old enough to be his father. The instructor needed a partner temporarily and my boy volunteered to spar with the instructor. Though my old mind cant dredge up the specific details of the bout, suffice it to say, the young lad beat the instuctor so soundly it required his transport to the hospital. I hate to admit it but I enjoyed the show. The kid didnt mean to hurt him, it just happened.
Back in the Day, when you opened a Karate Class, you will get visitors from other Instructors to see if you were legit. If they knew you were Fake, they’ll challenge you and make you Close down your School. The old days.
I know an Instructor who opened up a School and made he’s own style. He was Challenged and he won. Nobody bothered him after that. He was a real street fighter, sadly he passed away. It was natural death.
In the early 90s a young gentleman (brown belt) came into our studio and wanted to spar the black belts. I had one of my green belts gear up first. My student ate his lunch. The guy was so embarrassed that he picked up his bag and left without saying a word. A year later he came back as a black belt. and fought one of my brown belts first. Same results. We didn't figure out who he was until after he had left. Strange indeed
I did wing Chun and Kung fu for 2 years before I realised it was bullshit but it does work incredibly well against those that can’t fight or are easily scared.
It's so funny because even if you have never taken a single fighting class, you can tell that these guys dont even know how to throw punches or kicks. They are wild, uncoordinated, and obviously untrained.
@@danieladomeit9696 yeah, he still respect the actual martial artist who just does is not for money and greed but for history n love of the culture behind martial arts they are performing. not these BS instructors who scam people etc.. he's after them and calling them out. it's a shame they misunderstood the message he's trying to tell but hey, we get entertainment out of it at least lol
@@MrEpicness1234 That’s what happens when you upset the communists. Once you pop their bubble, they become offended, make a ton of false accusations, and pull whatever they can out of their ass.
Beating the shit out of old man is not very heroic imo. I agree that some master are « fake » but some martial art are practiced not always with the idea to actually fight but just gain confidence. I think what he does hurt the traditional martial art a lot more than helping it. Mma and boxing will always be a better base to fight due to the emphasis on sparring and real contact to me it looks like someone beating up outmatched opponent and that’s not what martial art is about.
I love the commentary on this video, early on there was a partitioner rather than a practitioner, then there was a Mai Tai fighter rather than a Muay Thai fighter & to top it off the boxer supposedly only using his right arm was using his left, very professionally done sir!
You forgot about the guy who got "knocked out of the ring" by a "kick to the head" The first master who lost. Was beaten by Royce Gracie. One of the greatest actual masters of all time. That video shouldn't even be on one of these bullshit top ten videos.
Everyone knows that Tai Chi is the art of fighting slow motion in a grassy area of your neighborhood park. Have that mma fighter meet me at the park right after the zumba class and I’ll fight him in slow motion.
Tai chi and other oriental martial arts are about sooooo much more then just fighting. MMA fighters may win a bunch of fights but they often lose at life. Their souls are imbalanced and their quality of life suffers. I’ll take mind body and soul over simply beating someone down any day
Its crazy how many people are ignorant and think martial arts is all about beating people. This reminds me of the kids trying to learn martial arts just to mess up others lol
something to note for the number 1 spot. the real fighter didn't only use one arm to be cocky but in fact had an injury from a previous event so his doctors recommended that he not use that arm and cancel the fight and the fighter only took half of that advice.
Informative and funny comment.......gets no love only crickets. Christian's comment is the MMA fighter and everyone else selling you a Wing Chun Master bridge in Brooklyn.
I never like the Gracie fight appearing in these lists. The other guy obviously can fight, but he's up against a legend. This is like saying 'Tyson lost a fight before, he must be fake'. There is a difference between losing to one of the best in the world and being a fake. Also, interesting story, for the #1 fight, that was on the same night as the Xu Xai Dong fight on the same background, and the One Armed Boxer has a crippled arm. It's physically there, but he can't use it, it wasn't a match restriction, he just can't actually fight with it.
Totally agreed. Whoever put this video together obviously is very ignorant. Jason D was a very credible fighter. At this juncture he had no ground skills but he was a legitimate standup fighter. Had this taken place a few years later it would have been much closer.
@@Icehso140 no, youtubers often rotate clips downloaded from other channels to avoid copyright strikes. the youtube algorithm automatically flags reuploaded videos otherwise. the fighter was indeed using his right arm.
It's not only that he was up against a legend, it was from a time before MMA existed or before it had really developed into something useful and well known. They really were figuring out which style was most effective against what back then, the winners became favourites in MMA's arsenal. The world becoming a much more connected place also helped. Fully agree though that had no place on this list. Xu Xiaodong I think the #2 fight also wasn't so much just visiting China, he was born there. He had death threats from the Chinese government and his social credit score is about as low as it can be, which is very limiting on what you can do in China, he can't use public transport including planes or rent property for example because he showed traditional Chinese martial arts to be a joke and the CCP didn't like that... So he defo belongs on the list but I don't think enough credit was given to just how much he sacrificed to expose charlatans who cheated people out of money and often ran their own cult like group. The guy just loves MMA and wants to bring more of it to China and this is the resistance he gets.
The man Royce was fighting is Jason DeLucia. He was not a "fake master" he was a legitimate fighter that just did not have any grappling knowledge during that time.
IF I remember correctly, that last fighter cant use that arm. It was broken and has plates in it. If he defends with it, parts will break and he will end up in the hospital. His boxing coach and doctor only let him go back to boxing if he learned one handed boxing. Interesting story if you have time.
@@janosvarga3527 what world record? He just shows his moves in camera, but never fights a real martial artists, outside of China, He was just an actor, so funny,
In that second match, the guy was fighting one of the greatest BJJ artists of all time while he was clearly focused on striking. Based on the footage, it was either Karate or Muay Thai based on the wide, bouncy stance. He ain’t fake.
@LibtardsStillCant SilenceMe20 you don't need like Gracie's to have respect for those who created, organized and popularized what everyone now calls mma, more respect for the first ufc winner, the legend Royce Gracie
No. 9 wasn't a fake fighter. That's Jason de Lucia, a kung-fu master and he had fought in early UFC. The guy that he fought in that video was Royce Gracie, one of the most important fighter in the history of UFC.
Almost feel bad for the older masters getting their shit rocked until I think of all the poor people they took advantage of by taking money and wasting people's time on nonsense.
How come none go to do Mai tai like he said on the video, because its Muay Thai ffs he said a drink! & in the video he said throws a hook but go which arm he used wrong fucking hell he's as dumb as the fake masters. 😆 🤣 😂 IDIAAAAAAAT
Something I learned watching karate movies. Real fights look nothing like that. Also the color of someone's belt doesn't always mean a lot. Size & natural ability sometimes means more.
Absolutely. I found out the hard way that being tall is not a good thing when you're learning Judi. Got thrown around a lot by shorter opponents with lower centre of mass. Reach advantage doesn't help a lot when you're grappling, let me tell you.
I did Goju Kye for about 3 years and have to admit the exercise regimes were brutal, but in the end I had a reality check when the 3rd Dan actually tried to beat me up in a lesson. I pulled my punches and kicks but he was really trying to lay me out. That's when I realised I could have easily decked him. Like I said, great exercise and conditioning, but not a match for wrestling and boxing.
traditional Chinese based martial arts are a discipline, and in most senses impractical and unfit for purpose for modern purposes. The "gongfu masters" of China, as well as the leaders in some Karate styles, focus on form over function. This serves the purpose of preserving the original forms, but without imparting the crushing level of conditioning that was traditionally expected (pre-20thC), it is not practical. Styles such as Wing Chun were developed by monks who had legitimate need for defending themselves in rural areas where policing wasn't really a thing and bandits were common. However most practitioners of bulshido today do not understand the importance if conditioning. I moved when I was a teenager, and there was nothing in the new area like the Goju Ryu I had been learning, so I went to the nearest dojo and ended up learning Kyo-kushin. In 9 months not a single sparring session, but they did knife work and disarming firearms.😂
@@adifferentangle7064 If there's no free and hard sparring, and if nobody gets hurt during sparring it's a really good hint that it's most probably a Bullshido discipline. We have a proverb around here, it roughly translates to - If you plane there'll be shavings.
I was definetely ready for a yellow belt at that time but when we did sparring in training i beat a black belt just a bit smaller than me, it was kick thai / muay thai and he was a taekwando black belt and it was semi contact and he beat me 3 to 2, im not sure if he had a really bad day but im not sure if he wouldve beat me in easy or full contact. I really didnt think id score that good.
I like what was said at the end, "you will be forced to put your skills on the plater sooner or later." That is very true from a personal standpoint and even when I denied my true skill level, it came back when it was forced out of me.
I remember when I was a kid I used to watch king fu movies and think “so cool, wish I could fight like that” thinking this is what fighting was. Then later I watch a real MMA fight and was like “holy crap that’s violent”, then it dawned on me. This is actual fighting and it’s not pretty and it’s not for everyone.
I think that most Japanese martial arts are useful because they have very strong traditions both mentally and physically which have been successfully exported by founding masters. Muay Thai and kickboxing are also solid. Chinese martial arts on the other hand in MHO may also be quite effective in China. But the export of of those has been much less successful. Abroad, it's quite rare that they are supported by official leagues, and their traditions are much less transmitted in a genuine way. Meaning they are often watered down...lack of quality control. Still, a excellent traditional boxer remains hard to beat.
Argument can be made that MMA is "ritual" fighting with judges, rules time limits and a stage. Real fighting is pure, unstoppable violence. I guess gladiator fights were the real deal
All i know is that Doug Duggart’s Brazilian Ju Jitsu (the master of the renowned Tackle and Grapple technique) is legit! While i didn’t make it to the advanced levels, my girlfriend did and she now spends most of her time there. Heck, she even does all-nighters in his dojo learning the ancient secret techniques that can only be taught at night! For anyone that is interested, his Dojo is located in the High Point Mini Mall just east of the Pizza Barn, two doors down from Kyle’s Discount Ribs and Furniture!
There are rarely "fakes"! Basically, it is the "martial arts" themselves and their traditional ways of training and practicing that do not work in real combat. Most of the masters have mastered their discipline, but it is that discipline that has degenerated over the decades and centuries and even millenia and is no longer a combat discipline.
Kung fu works. Everyone just rather ground and pound and swing like crazy. Martial arts takes time amd practice. Patience, something everyone lacks today. If kung fu doesn't work, then tell that to the father of MMA . . . Bruce Lee.
@@mitchallen5819 But Bruce Lee always said kung fu doesn't work the traditional way, after he learned some and then went for a free approach, no particular style, just basic moves of all kinds, oriented towards efficiency in combat.
That 1 armed man is scary, he took an injury to his arm (So he got good at being a boxer who only uses one hand, because he doesn't have full functionality of the other). He continued to box, and he doesn't have full functionality of his arm! To be that good.... I've practiced for 10 years, and even when I was good- that guy has way more skill and slipping and setting up, he'd have knocked me out for sure.
@ILikebatSoup Returns if a boy can say he is a girl and society is forced to accept it, then any man....or woman....or whatever it wants to be could call themselves a master. But believing yourself to be a master is a fools mistake. No matter how many fights one wins, or what titles they earn by others, there will always be someone better....or faster....or stronger...or bigger.
@@mmnnn8739 they not Masters they Pro Fighters they still Train and continue over and over to improve themselves Some like Connor for example was one of the best Strikers to ever exist and yet was easily mauled by Khabib who is a way better wrestler the UFC Fighters ain masters everyone of them has flaws has weaknesses that will bring then down
@@cactusmalone no...you don't. If one merely fights for show, what merit is there in their true abilities? Even the greatest of UFC champions could be defeated on the street by one who doesn't follow any sort of rules.
The second video… you keep calling him “the fighter” or “jiu jitsu partitioner”.. but that’s a young Royce Gracie! A living legend. How could you not see that? Also - “partitioner” isn’t a word when describing mma athletes
You mean a living fraud? Watch Sakuraba destroy him and 4 other gracies. They're a lot of hype and only fight people they feel they have a good chance of beating. The gracies REFUSED an open invitation to fight Benny the Jet Urquidez who said anytime, anywhere I'll fight anyone of you. But they knew he would most likely knock any of them the hell out. The gracies finally beat Sakuraba, but royce popped positive for steroids after their fight, and since the mma world kisses their asses, he was only fined but kept the win. The other gracies that beat Sakuraba were young and fought an old, hammered from years of fighting. But they won by decision. I'm currently a Wing Chun practitioner, my Sifu went to a bjj school to see what they were about. They asked him if he wanted to spar.and told him he could do whatever he wanted. Their top guy squared off with Sifu and got punched square in the face when he tried to move in. The guy was not happy, but said he was still welcome to fight however he wanted. He stopped sparring after again trying to shoot for a takedown and getting punched in the face. Bjj is great for mma stuff, not so much for real fighting.
@@Johnsmith-pd3uk holy ridiculousness. Firstly just cuz a great fighter beats another great fighter that doesn’t make him a fraud. And bjj does work in real fights. Just watch crazy horse bennet backstage fight and watch him get choked out. Wing chun is such a crap martial art mate honestly shut up

The knee to the face at 7:40 was the *MOST SATISFYING* demolition of a fake 'master' I have seen. 'master' flails like one of those advertising things that air blows through to make the arms wave about. . TRUE fighter gets sick of the B.S. and just *SMASHES* the fake dude with a knee in the face . . game over!
Many of the masters in the video used Tai Chi, which wasn't created to fight or cause damage. Tai Chi is MAINLY used for health benefits and meditation. Nice video though!
Tai Chi Chaun was originally developed as a fighting art. IT just proved very good for wellness and most people practiced it for that letting the few people with actual skills fade away.
1:30 That “Fighter” in the white that you are talking about is the legendary Royce Gracie. The #1 spot, the boxer was using his LEFT hand, not his right…jeeze there were narrative mistakes on every clip! 🇨🇦
I like some masters displaying "Decending from sky like swowflake" , Cherry blossom falling from tree" and "Contemplation of the void " while meditating on the mat. 😅
Bro the second figh was Royce Gracie…. He always looked like he was getting the crap beat outta him. Two seconds later someone was tapping out! Him and his family are legends! Any MMA fan owes it’s existence to the Gracie’s.
Can't imagine the bozo who claimed he could block the opponents flying fists with his "chi" didn't even make your list... watching him get punched in the face was quite satisfying.
Jesus, guys... you couldn't even watch the last video for yourselves to make sure the script was right?? He's not even using his right hand. The script for this is so terrible it's genuinely quite hard to watch
Ah yes this reminds me when I was once quite inexperienced and I challenged some of my school companions to a fight. To be truthful I was humiliated and my arrogance kept getting the better of me. Ever since then I have gotten much better in martial arts. Remember people true skill comes from hard work, dedication and honest effort. Not arrogance, over confidence and thinking one is invincible. There is no such thing as invincibility only unmatched skill during a battle.
I beat up a bunch of classmates when I was in middle school and high school because they thought I was easy money, little did they know that I had been practicing martial arts and fighting since I was 5. It's never good to underestimate anyone no matter who they are, you never know how good someone is until you fight them.
It might be where I grew up. But in my opinion, the most important lesson a kid can learn is that 'your not a good fighter' Nobody is a good fighter before their first fight, yet everyone thinks they are, including myself. That confidence is dangerous, and can lead to cruelty. Luckily, I had a good friend who I would play fight with, and I found out that I actually had no idea what I was doing, but I wasn't harmed. But it definitely did me a favor.
As already said that was also Jason De Lucia a legit fighter, and had belts Kung Fu (red sash) Judo, Aikido (black belt) and later BJJ( black belt), he also fought Royce again at UFC 2, among pancraese and many others, in no way a fake master.
@negativezero3107 De Lucia had a legit career in MMA...I didn't even notice that was him fighting Gracie...I thought they were talking sh*t about Gracie.
Many of these "masters" had probably never been in a real fight. Learning moves and technics dont mean shit if you have no power behind them. And practicing without hurting your sparing partner learns you nothing.especially if the sparing partner doesnt hit you back. Lots of people who really know how to fight dont want to fight, its the ones that talk the most about all their skills are the ones that tend to get beat the worst. Beware of the quiet ones!
This is what I think any time someone says wushu/kungfu or shaolin. I'm sure me a regular dude will get beat, but as soon as you have any real training you'll destroy them.
Kung fu masters are not fake per se, they become fake when they claim to be fighters. Kung fu is amazing, it has beautiful rich tradition, teaches students dedication and discipline and is also great for fitness and body conditioning; it is just not meant to train fighters, at least not in its techincal form. Kung fu practitioners can definitely train as fighters, but will have to do so with an entirely differentiated routine. Forms do not make anybody ready for the cage.
True, as an artform it is amazing. But sadly too many Masters claim to be combat proficient because they want to look strong even though they rarely even spare in their own training halls, let alone against other styles. So many are Masters of their own style, but do not know how to use it against any other style.
@@autarko Oh I have many clients who do it and it's great for them, but me I'll stick with viet vo dao and the kind of differentiated sparring we do. Been doing it for over a decade, I'm a 3rd dang black belt and I'm utterly in love with the discipline. I also am lucky enough to have a vietnamese grandmaster living in my city, I really couldn't ask for more than this
I Absolutely LOVE the "Chinese Master" beat downs; they have become so warped in their bullshido they actually believe they can fight. its so awesome, keep um coming ...
It's not hard to beat up a 54 year old. I saw Sugar Ray Leonard knocked around pretty hard by a 25 year old - so would you call him a bum as well? In his prime no one called him a bum. I am now 59 years old. In my early martial arts career no one was knocking me around. Today I'm winded by white belts. That's just what happens with time. I'm sure my kicks look pretty sorry these days. But as a master instructor I can certainly train fighters to win with stunning success. Most fighting trainers could never accomplish what their students accomplish. Does that make them fake masters? Could Angelo Dundee fight like Muhammed Ali, or could any of Tyson's trainers fight like him? Still they produced the greatest boxers in the world. That's what a master of the martial arts does. He trains and teaches his students to become the greatest THEY CAN BE. Which may be well greater skills than the Master can be. This video is very disrespectful. Not worthy of the time spent watching it. Black Dragon 8th Dan - Master
Let's forget to mention that most of these masters seem to be in their 60s trying to defend themselves against experienced professional fighters in their 20s.
The power of willful delusion never ceases to amaze me. It's almost frightening to be honest. If a man is faking it, why on Earth would he step into an actual ring with an actual fighter? It can't be Ego. It has to be something more mental than that.
It's because they lie so much they start to believe it. There's a lot of that going around these days.. Look at the expert, Joe Biden. He is the king of delusion.. :P
In the last fight featured, the guy fighting was fighting with his left arm only, however, the commentator keep saying things like, "he threw a right hook." How do you do that with your left arm? Fake commentator? lol.
He said Mai tai in this too, that's a fucking drink! It's Muay Thai he's as dumb as the god damn fake masters who want to ' be like flow like Vaaaaaater '👏 👍 👌
First acknowledge that MMA uses the techniques from many martial arts. Then realize that a 50 year old guy is basically an encyclopedia, not a fighter anymore. For this to be a real matchup, the combatants must be about the same age and physical conditioning. It's sad to see these old guys (I'm old btw) getting into scrapes with much younger fighters. Odds are they will not win, or at least real injury. The master teaches technique and the master coaches and gains satisfaction passing on knowledge. There is a time to put up the gloves. But take any great fighter like Sugar Ray or Mike Tyson at 50 and ask if you'd want their instruction as a young fighter even if they would lose every fight against younger mediocre fighters at their advanced age. I would choose their teaching.
About had to more than 20 years ago now. I was assistant coach at a boxing/kickboxing gym. We would rent gym space to a Kenpo class, nice people they would do cool stuff with weapons and forms. Well one day the Kenpo class asks "We should spar with each other." Well our boxers beat everyone everyone handedly. I spared the teacher, he had no idea what a hook punch was. I just moved forward and back to draw a kick he walked into lefthook after lefthook. They moved to another gym the next week but a few student started at our gym.
Just because someone lost a fight doesn't make them a fake master. Royce Gracie had lost a few fights in his career too! But that doesn't make him a fake master.
Presenter of video, you need to learn the difference between your right and left. The boxer in your No. 1 is not using his right hand to "do all the chores," (8:05-8:08) but his left hand.
Many of the masters were old while facing off against men in their prime. While technique very much matters, physical size and stamina go a long way to winning a fight.
Ever watched 'Kung Fu Jungle (2014)'? There is an evil villain character in that movie who was loosely based on him... And it's a pretty entertaining movie too!
A "master " is only a title for an advanced teacher.. A "fighter" a title for someone who should have experienced full contact regularly. Only my opinion 👍
Nah. In order to call yourself a MASTER you should be able to utilize and put into practice what youre TEACHING. Otherwise a bunch of BS and you’re just another scammer. Just not on the phone but in person
This guy obviously has never done martial arts either because his commentary is wrong in his videos, in this one he said " MAI TAI " that's a fucking drink! It's MUAY THAI, He makes himself look as dumb as the god damn fake masters who want to ' be like flow like Vaaaaaater '👏 👍 👌 Another one he said he threw a hook with one arm when it was actually the other one for fuck sake. Such a tool! Should do his homework on what he's speaking of so he does look an idiot but then again they probably aren't bothered as they got the view they wanted anyway!
I think you both meaning relatively a similar thing you just both said it different. Say if you're a ex Karate proffesional fighter then you retire & start to teach then that's what you would call a Master but if you're a Karate teacher you can't NOT have experience previously fighting, it's like picking someone off the street that are copying Karate videos & someone goes to see this master to learn to do Karate professionally & that's whats happening then that's fucking dangerous an should be criminal. They'd then be a fake Master. But you both mean the same I think.
number 1 and 2 were hilarious! I mean they all were, but those two especially. I love the guy with his hand on the back. He didn't even tie it in place, so he had to actively fight the urge to use it normally as his muscle memory is trying to make him use it to block or counter throughout the fight. And not ONCE did he forget himself and remove it from his back. Not only did he have to fight with one arm less, he also had to focus and make sure he didn't use it. That's 2 extra things to worry about. And still it was like watching an older brother just pummel his sibling into submission..
The second fighter is not a "faker". He is Jason DeLucia. While he was unprepared for Jiu-Jitsu at this time he later became a professional fighter at the Lion's Den and competed in Pancrase and the UFC.

@@junior1388666 it's pretty close to a real fight? So most street fights are with half naked dudes fighting with gloves around a cage where certain types of blows to the head are illegal? And depending on what you're wearing you can knock someone out with one kick to the head if not fracture their ribs. Where as in during training it's not as effective because you're barefoot aka susceptible to getting your foot Injured and less power from the shoe. even when the young people can do something better at work they still have to do it like their supervisor does it, even when its inefficient.

Another Captain Obvious comes to comment.
And the old days were the best
Only if master beat you he's worthy
I know an Instructor who opened up a School and made he’s own style. He was Challenged and he won. Nobody bothered him after that. He was a real street fighter, sadly he passed away. It was natural death.
That explains all the kenpo and mma kids coming to jujitsu class and wanting to spar. Some residual desire to test what they know against another art.

Absolutely. I found out the hard way that being tall is not a good thing when you're learning Judi. Got thrown around a lot by shorter opponents with lower centre of mass. Reach advantage doesn't help a lot when you're grappling, let me tell you.

traditional Chinese based martial arts are a discipline, and in most senses impractical and unfit for purpose for modern purposes.

Thank you!

Tai Chi Chaun was originally developed as a fighting art. IT just proved very good for wellness and most people practiced it for that letting the few people with actual skills fade away.

That “Fighter” in the white that you are talking about is the legendary Royce Gracie.
The #1 spot, the boxer was using his LEFT hand, not his right…jeeze there were narrative mistakes on every clip! 🇨🇦
so.. many...mistakes
He said Mai Tai not Muay Thai lol 😆 😂 🤣
That's a fucking drink! 🍸
He's a dumb as the fake masters ffs.
7:39 “knocked him out with a kick to his head” but knees him in the chest.
Yep I caught that too... amongst other glaring narrative fails
I'm reminded of so many Kung fu movie plots where some random dude destroys every Kung fu school in town.
Watching someone's reality be crushed in a single moment is a great lesson.
The most devastating real life fighter I've ever seen and met was a trained mma fighter who took up Krav Maga
That’s some dangerous shit right there

Proper technique plays a factor, obviously this is true, since MMA became a thing, there is no question which fighting style's are the most effective.
I challenge you!!🦵💪👊🤜🦶🖐
I beat up a bunch of classmates when I was in middle school and high school because they thought I was easy money, little did they know that I had been practicing martial arts and fighting since I was 5. It's never good to underestimate anyone no matter who they are, you never know how good someone is until you fight them.
It might be where I grew up. But in my opinion, the most important lesson a kid can learn is that 'your not a good fighter'
Nobody is a good fighter before their first fight, yet everyone thinks they are, including myself. That confidence is dangerous, and can lead to cruelty.
Luckily, I had a good friend who I would play fight with, and I found out that I actually had no idea what I was doing, but I wasn't harmed. But it definitely did me a favor.
Or as my grandfather said to me. Doesn't matter how badass you think you are, there's always someone who is better
The second fighter is Royce Gracie. One of the greatest jiu-jitsu fighter ever. Hardly anyone, master or not stood a chance once he grabbed you.
8:00 - umm....dude....that's his LEFT hand.
"But the boxer will only be using his right hand"
Me : confused pikachu face
That last guys versus the guy who only used one arm even tries some illegal elbows to the back of the head. What a master.
Yea my school separates the two. We do Sanda, full contact kickboxing with gloves and gear, and then traditional Northern Mantis style.
You should try Pilates. I think you'd love it based on your description.

To be fair alot of the these guys were old dudes, who were out of shape fighting someone over half they're age.
True that.
Young or old these Charlton's we're clueless on how to fight - period. By all means though continue to be fooled by ones just like them.
Doesn’t change the fact they looked terrible and had no technique
I Absolutely LOVE the "Chinese Master" beat downs; they have become so warped in their bullshido they actually believe they can fight. its so awesome, keep um coming ...
Number nine was no fake master. That was a fight between a gracie and a real fighter to promote jiu-jitsu in the USA.
Facts

Yeah, so my kids don't know their right and left either. I can school you on it if need be 😂
Let's forget to mention that most of these masters seem to be in their 60s trying to defend themselves against experienced professional fighters in their 20s.
Age is a factor, he might have the skills and concepts but never translate to results
This is a new martial art where you block punches with your face 😂

Sure let's go with that 😅😅
A great fighter doesn't necessarily make a great,or even good teacher, and vice versa.
But that doesn't make him a fake master.
but....how many he has won....
@@kbentchev go google it yourself. wiki's record is 15 wins out of the 20 fights.
Presenter of video, you need to learn the difference between your right and left. The boxer in your No. 1 is not using his right hand to "do all the chores," (8:05-8:08) but his left hand.
Just what I wanted to say. I was also confused because he keeps saying right when it's clearly the left hand he's using. 😆
Love hearing this guy's voice for 9 minutes. So soothing.
8:22 "the match ends with a right hook to his jaw"
from the fighter, who'se right arm was behind his back, using only his left arm
Many of the masters were old while facing off against men in their prime. While technique very much matters, physical size and stamina go a long way to winning a fight.
Shouldn't you need some kind of CERTIFICATION to prove you're a Master of anything 🤣?
Xiaodong’s story deserves to be made into a tv show or a film.

Nah. In order to call yourself a MASTER you should be able to utilize and put into practice what youre TEACHING. Otherwise a bunch of BS and you’re just another scammer. Just not on the phone but in person

Another one he said he threw a hook with one arm when it was actually the other one for fuck sake.

That's a kind of shame on real fighters.
But I like that this guy is doing what he does. Buttt my only thing is, I will never in a million years understand why it is that people will bring up martial arts, then use the absolute shittiest examples of the art to then say it doesn't work. When just for one if they can't actually use them, then they don't even know the art and really wouldn't count in the conversation about that specific art. It's the equivalent of saying that playing a Guitar doesn't work, just because you can't do it and have only tried one guitar for 2 months.
Well the UFC already showed us what works and doesn't. No reason to argue about that anymore
@@junior1388666 not really, or even hardly for real. Yes Training works, for what you are training to do,but a competition, MMA, boxing match, karate tournament etc is not an actual fight and it's not going down the same way in real life either.
@@willtherealrustyschacklefo3812 sure UFC is a competition, but is very close to a real fight. And it was created primarily to see what martial art is the best. Actually the early day of UFC were pretty much real fights. Little to no rules and unlimited time
@@junior1388666 just saying they do not do actual martial arts training tho, "how to fight" which is virtually all they focus on is like 20 percent of martial arts training. And why many things wouldn't work for them, haven't completed the training. And especially in modern day people are much lazier and they train to perform within those rules, and it is extremely difficult to react against your own instincts and training, which they would need to do in a legitimate real fight
@@junior1388666 it's pretty close to a real fight? So most street fights are with half naked dudes fighting with gloves around a cage where certain types of blows to the head are illegal?
No. Let me give you an example. Taekwondo is a style more effective in real life because you're wearing shoes. And depending on what you're wearing you can knock someone out with one kick to the head if not fracture their ribs. Where as in during training it's not as effective because you're barefoot aka susceptible to getting your foot Injured and less power from the shoe. Martial arts excluding freaking Tai chi is like video games. Somewhere at some place at some time it will work. It just depends on how good you are at it.
fighting can be considered a talent you were born with. Ofcourse with a lot of practice you can get great at some point. But some people were just born with violent insticts. It's kinda the same for people that were born with a good ear for music and others for theater, other sports etc.
I 100% agree, I think like with everything, you can tell pretty early on if somebody has a natural talent for it or not.
