I’ve got a hunch that Bella Real could be a red herring who portrays herself as the “real change” Gotham needs, but in reality she’s ironically being funded by the mob and/or corrupt elites so they can maintain their power. this could also tie into Riddler’s “Renewal is a Lie” clue.

This trailer is incredible. The whole backdrop of Gotham City Skyline feels absolute. Definitely Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli Year One backdrop you have easily but for the story it's Year Two which is fine. It's very much realistic world for a fictional story and you have jeopardy, tension, drama, suspense all coming together in this trailer. The cinematography for this film is definitely fantastic where the lighting is captured so well. I love how this specific trailer highlighted Batman and Catwoman as frenemies leading to a passion of love at some point in the story. It's very much a powderkeg and all it needs a match and light up the flame.
I have a prediction for the cathedral scene… Basically riddler says a bunch of riddles, batman answers correctly and is allowed to go closer, but on the last one he gets it wrong and then riddler says “oh you’re really not as smart as I thought, Bruce Wayne” and then he blows it up. I think that would be pretty epic
I personally think that Reeves is gonna take a page out of Batman Earth One Volume 2, where when Batman answers correctly to one of Riddler’s riddles and the Riddler still blows up the train killing everyone on board. Now I think when Batman is talking to the Riddler on the phone and him trying to save the DA’s life he’ll get all of the riddles right, but the Riddler will still blow up Gill.
I hope not. It seems like that would really lower the stakes when Riddler does challenge Batman mentally. If you know he's just gonna blow things up anyways, what's the point of the riddles? It could be one of those 'get's-the-answer-wrong-but-quickly-corrects-himself' kinda things where Riddler decides that Batman still loses on a technicality.

@@craftonblair7052 I get what you're saying. I just think it would undermine the defining character traits of Riddler. There'd be little to set him apart from other villains. There's definitely circumstances where it wouldn't matter if Batman solved the riddles, but he'd want to beat Batman in a mental chessmatch before his ego would let him resort to just blowing people up no matter what. I guess we'll all find out in a couple months.
The “a real change” map also has blinking lights on the outside of Gotham, probably showing where he puts the bombs. The “real change” is the flooding he’s about to cause.

Paul Dano's The Riddler is kind of representing necessary evil. This version of the Riddler is like Batman a vigilante who is exposing the corruption within Gotham City. He is bringing his own form of Justice where he is not pulling any stops to his actions. Of course he is kind of like the villain from Seven with giving the protagonist clues to follow to solve the crime that he has planned for Gotham City.
Such an epic 3rd trailer. And good god each shot just looks absolutely gorgeous, the cinematography just looks phenomenal. I love that we get more scenes of chemistry between Selina and Bruce.
I have super high hopes for this movie. I think Robert is going to be the goat Batman. My fav was batfleck. Never like Bales version. But RP looks like he will be the goat
The scene where Bruce answers Eds riddle gave me chills, I cannot wait for this battle of intelligence I hope they throw a little riddler trophy Easter egg somewhere in there the Batman Arkham games are my favourite story games
The more I see the world that this movie is taking us into, the more I know it’s going to be something absolutely spectacular! Real fans are in for an absolute treat. I only hope that they don’t go revealing too much before we all get to see it… Which if that mistake is made I know it would fall on Warner Bros. The real fans and the people who are following everything about this movie already can’t wait until March! I just hope that they don’t give away too much of the story, thinking it’ll inspire the general public to get out and see this movie. And once again your videos are extremely insightful and encourage discussion and excitement for this movie within the fanbase and beyond. I continue to look forward to each and every one…as I have for the past year. Absolutely fantastic job man.
Also I think it would be really funny if the riddler did throw some cheesy puns but than had a really dark twist on them with real deaths like if he put the rat trap on a snitch like a rat
I love Pattinson Batman voice. I especially love the fact that they’re not going with the voice modulator that afflecks Batman used. ( never a fan of that ). His voice is reminding me of keatons Batman voice where he sounded more cold and calculating.

I think when the riddler says “Bruce Wayne” he and Bruce have an encounter, not Batman and riddler. Since he is exposing the Wayne’s, he may want to talk to Bruce Wayne but doesn’t know Bruce is Batman.

You can see two dressed the exact same in one scene. Either 2 people will be playing one role which would explain how some things will be able to be done while the riddler is in jail or he has many doing it for him. Either way is cool
I think that The Riddler will be arrested near or before the halfway mark of the film and they will be trying to figure out what else he has planned while he still is in prison, similar to the film Law Abiding Citizen where he is doing most of his work from inside the cell. And he will use the flood to break out from Arkham.

Matt Reeves is a brilliant director, I went to see War for the Planet of the Apes when it came out and the cinematography just blew me away and the story and drama just never got me bored

Dialogues from this Trailer is what stands out! And if that’s any indication, this Batman movie could deliver a Superb Screenplay. It’s the Screenplays that made Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy and Todd Phillips’s Joker Movie truly be Masterpieces! 🎬🏆
I'm in the minority that didn't like joker. I never thought he needed an orgin story. And it was boring. But Joaquin did an awesome job. Hated Christian bales batman. The voice. The stupid jump cut fights. It was trash. I loved the 2nd movie tho cause of heath ledger. But in my opinion. Just an opinion. Noland trilogy is heavily over-rated first movie was ok at best. 2nd was awesome. 3rd was a big letdown idk how people claim it a masterpiece trilogy when only one movie was amazing. And then the other two were ok (1st one). And trash (3rd one) The voice of batman was stupid and annoying. And the jump cuts during fights were horrible. The perfect fight would be anything like batflecks warehouse fight. Or the ones it shows in this trailer. Batfleck was my fav but looks like Patterson is going to take the best batman to date

It's clear that the ending twist will be Bruce protecting Bella from Riddler and helping her to become a mayor ,after which it will be revealed that she is a member of the Court of Owls or the League of Shadows.

Matt Reeves is absolutely nailing these trailers. I’m getting chills watching them, and I already know that there’s even more that we haven’t seen like the motorcycle scenes for example. The dark, Gotham vibes are awesome. It’s like the Arkham games come to life
The fact that Battinson slides across the floor like the Arkham games then beats two bad guys with there own weapon, turns around at the end of the trailer, like he just resets the combo meter cuz he wants to strike fear into the foe is AMAZING!!! 🦇
I love detail of the blinking lights on the map carved on the floor, probably showing the places where the bombs will eventually be placed. And I agree we will see the Bat and the Cat having their moments when they disagree and the bond breaks, and I think it will happen in this movie. It may be when Selina finds out that Batman is her childhood friend Bruce, who did t tell her who he was, or maybe even before she finds out, when Bruce feels conflicted about pointing the finger at his parents but she wants to go down that line. Not knowing who he really his, Selina might think Batman isn't really that interested in going deep in investigating the true corruption in Gotham.

If you look at the scene where batman is looking at the riddlers map, you will see lights flicker on the edge...he was telling batman his plan of explosions.
I'm sure that this movie will definitely top atleast The Dark Knight Rises in Nolan triology. Let's hope that this will be equal to The Dark Knight if not more.

I personally love the eye makeup, it adds to the dreary tone of the movie. It's a great artistic choice when you have an actor who can act with his eyes because it draws center focus to them.

I think that in the trailer when Selina Kyle jumps off the building and commissioner Gordon looks like he is on top of Batman, Selena pushed a person of the ledge (there was a shot of the city skyline and a man was behind her) and Batman with his grapple caught the man and Jim Gordon rushed over to him so that he can help Batman pull the man up🤔 P.s. Everyone said he wouldn't make a good Batman he doesn't have the acting range or whatever the arguments were but these trailers over the last few months prove those statements wrong. And I'm really really excited for this movie like a kid at Christmas excited. I think it may end up being one of the best modern Batman movies.
On the map drawn on the ground of what seems to be Gotham or a part of Gotham at the top of the map it does look like there are little orange lights that look like they’re placed in the same spots as the explosions that cause the floods. So maybe this wasn’t part of the plan for them to see that causing riddler to fast track his plans very similar to john does apartment scene in SE7EN ??

Afflecks voice modulator made perfect sense. It made him sound terrifying. Like a robotic demon.

It's gotten to a point where my only concern for The Batman is that expectations will be so high that it can't live up to it, because everything looks perfect so far for my taste.

I saw the new trailer pop up on my facebook feed at the top and was surprised you hadn’t made a video about it and very glad you did after that.
Dialogues from this Trailer is what stands out! And if that’s any indication, this Batman movie could deliver a Superb Screenplay.
It’s the Screenplays that made Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy and Todd Phillips’s Joker Movie truly be Masterpieces! 🎬🏆
I'm in the minority that didn't like joker. I never thought he needed an orgin story. And it was boring. But Joaquin did an awesome job. Hated Christian bales batman. The voice. The stupid jump cut fights. It was trash. I loved the 2nd movie tho cause of heath ledger. But in my opinion. Just an opinion. Noland trilogy is heavily over-rated first movie was ok at best. 2nd was awesome. 3rd was a big letdown idk how people claim it a masterpiece trilogy when only one movie was amazing. And then the other two were ok (1st one). And trash (3rd one) The voice of batman was stupid and annoying. And the jump cuts during fights were horrible. The perfect fight would be anything like batflecks warehouse fight. Or the ones it shows in this trailer. Batfleck was my fav but looks like Patterson is going to take the best batman to date

Amazing.!! None of the other movies were dark. New take on Batman.
It's clear that the ending twist will be Bruce protecting Bella from Riddler and helping her to become a mayor ,after which it will be revealed that she is a member of the Court of Owls or the League of Shadows.

Now i think this Riddler is also inspired from his version in Batman Earth one and Zero Year.
Matt Reeves is absolutely nailing these trailers. I’m getting chills watching them, and I already know that there’s even more that we haven’t seen like the motorcycle scenes for example. The dark, Gotham vibes are awesome. It’s like the Arkham games come to life

They nailed It this time. So different then the rest.
The fact that Battinson slides across the floor like the Arkham games then beats two bad guys with there own weapon, turns around at the end of the trailer, like he just resets the combo meter cuz he wants to strike fear into the foe is AMAZING!!! 🦇
That climatic (?) fight is giving very Hurricane Katrina Superdome refuge.
I love detail of the blinking lights on the map carved on the floor, probably showing the places where the bombs will eventually be placed. And I agree we will see the Bat and the Cat having their moments when they disagree and the bond breaks, and I think it will happen in this movie. It may be when Selina finds out that Batman is her childhood friend Bruce, who did t tell her who he was, or maybe even before she finds out, when Bruce feels conflicted about pointing the finger at his parents but she wants to go down that line. Not knowing who he really his, Selina might think Batman isn't really that interested in going deep in investigating the true corruption in Gotham.

If you look at the scene where batman is looking at the riddlers map, you will see lights flicker on the edge...he was telling batman his plan of explosions.

I personally love the eye makeup, it adds to the dreary tone of the movie. It's a great artistic choice when you have an actor who can act with his eyes because it draws center focus to them.

I think that in the trailer when Selina Kyle jumps off the building and commissioner Gordon looks like he is on top of Batman, Selena pushed a person of the ledge (there was a shot of the city skyline and a man was behind her) and Batman with his grapple caught the man and Jim Gordon rushed over to him so that he can help Batman pull the man up🤔

Everyone said he wouldn't make a good Batman he doesn't have the acting range or whatever the arguments were but these trailers over the last few months prove those statements wrong. And I'm really really excited for this movie like a kid at Christmas excited. I think it may end up being one of the best modern Batman movies.

On the map drawn on the ground of what seems to be Gotham or a part of Gotham at the top of the map it does look like there are little orange lights that look like they’re placed in the same spots as the explosions that cause the floods. So maybe this wasn’t part of the plan for them to see that causing riddler to fast track his plans very similar to john does apartment scene in SE7EN ??
