Here’s a story: me and my friend were going to a frozen over lake last year and we thought it was a brilliant idea to let his big overweight Labrador go on the ice and it was all fine and dandy, so I held the dog my friend ran to the other side and we let the dog run across the ice to him and he broke the ice near the other side where it was much thinner and fell in. My friend striped down to his under pants and went into the frozen over lake and rescued him and every one was all fine at the end. I know no one asked but here you go

0:19 its not glass will... its called a screen. when you live in a warm humid climate you get these things called bugs, bugs are these little things that are annoying and fly around your face and food. So they put these screens up around there pool that they want to relax near so they can keep the bugs out but still get the sunlight
I think the reason they have glass over their pool is that so leaves and bugs etc dont go in the pool, it means the pool is always clean and ready to swim in + you get some sunshine as its glass too.
The glass things around the pools are called "lanais" and they are to help them from getting debri inside! Just about all the pools in florida have them!
Btw, for the first one with the glass roofing. I’m pretty sure that they mainly do this where you can find alligators. It’ll prevent them from getting into the pools
