Nice improv on Just the Two Of Us, I too am a saxophone newbie who started approximately 5 months ago too. I play the baritone saxophone and I upload on TH-cam too... the saxophone is LEGENDARY!!
OK for 5months. Best advice I can give is to use a DAW to drop an mp3 of you favorite sax players, playing your favorite tunes. then record yourself on a separate track, doing your best to copy all aspects of their sound, phrasing and style. choose a slow number as that will be more exacting and revealing, but also doable for your current abilities. Then review the attempt, listening "as if" it was someone else playing, and note the comments. Repeat the attempt. come back to the performances after a week, month and repeat the process. You will be amazed at the rate of performance (assuming you are working hard on the improvement on your observations in the intervening time. Saving the files will allow you to review your substantial improvements over the coming months. Also play with a tuner and metronome, use the tuner for longer tones to check your embouchure, if you are sharp, you are applying too much pressure to the reed. Also look at the graph of the audio trace. I should be balanced either side of the centre line. If the average is above the line, you are likely playing sharp with too much tension. I'd recommend lip out embouchure as you then cant easily apply too much force to the reed. If you can get at least a few lessons with a great local player/teacher who plays the style and sound you love, it'll be priceless at your stage of development. Far easier to adjust now than undo faults and re-learn years later. You have a passion and ability and are prepared to work hard, all will pay off greatly in the years to come 😀
Thanks for your great work! Don't forget to share this to your sax playing friends.

My jazz band director was doing the same thing
