@@keithmasek2855 I’ve gone back to my Drennan Acolyte Carp 3.6m, two piece. It’s so stiff and you’d have to do something daft to break it, the extra length over say the bottom two section of my Maver Signature (2.9m) is very handy.
Looks too deep to me, which is a shame. If you haven't got long arms, then reaching down into a deep net isnt efficient and just feels so clumsy and have to bend down and rummage. The shallower the better for me, much faster to speed net and unhook. I have the madfish carbonair, and have had no problems with doubles in it. At the time, I weighed it, and did find the guru barbsafe is also comparatively light, there wasnt a lot in it.
@@davidsmith2663 depth isn't a problem for you, but it is for me with shorter arms. My opinion mate, used loads of different nets over my match life, and I prefer shallow ones.
@@jeremybenson5305 You have to use what works for you. I have quite long arms so the deeper net works for me. As long as the fish fits in the net and you can unhook it then jobs a good un. I do like the Preston carbon net but only have it in 18” at the moment
@ I’ve got one in my Angling Direct basket as we speak Paul, just have to decide on a new feeder reel l’m seriously considering a Magnitude before they release a new model with folding handle and quick drag. Neither facility do l need.
@ that’s sealed another expense then Paul. I like the Centris but l prefer the Magnitude large diameter bale arm and it’s a tad lighter too. I sold my XR Shimano’s because of the bale arm being so thin. It was very light and great for pellet waggler but l prefer my Magnitude.
Really nice review Paul. Many thanks.
Cheers Paul another great and honest video
I’m getting back into it now, more on the way.
Enjoyable video Paul. Which net handle would you pair with this net. Thanks.

Nice video paul..thanks
Very welcome
Great review thanks 😊
Thanks for watching!
I wish I had to use my landing net every time I went fishing. 😂
I blanked for the first time in 13 years last week. Didn’t use my net other than to scoop water in a tub!

You only have to put the net on your knees and it becomes very shallow. Depth is no problem at all
It’s all down to the kind of fishing you do, venues and personal preference as to whether this net works for you.

Going to stop watching your very good tackle test videos it costs me money . I must have a carbon net must. 😂
I can only apologise but you know it’s a ‘must’ purchase!!
@@paulstacklereviews1695 I do know that got an 18” one in my Angling Direct badket

I like my Magnitude (prefer it to Centris which I sold). My others are mainly Shimano XR.
