    The video (or one of them) that I have been waiting for. Thanks Mike (qsl is good via the bureau...)

    Nice video, Mike. Just want to make you aware that you entered the bureau cards as received via "Manager", just like the OQRS cards.

    I was doing this totally different. I asked on a forum about editing and searching the logbook and I was going the long way around and updating each QSO individually. I need to play with what you just showed me on this video. I really want to have the default choices to show beauru but the bulk change also works as you demonistrated. One note; after connecting HRD, WSJT-X and Grid Tracker; the whole HRD package slows down by a factor if 50 or more. Log book searches or Look ups take minutes. Certainly impossible to be doing FT8 QSO's while doing updates to the database; it freezes till it is done thinking. I am using a very old I7 with 32gb ram. Thanks.

      I suspect your database is on Access... and there are version issues with Access that we're eliminating in the next release that will eliminate Access and its performance issues.

    A word of warning on this, the sent and received states reset on close down. I just fired everything back up and ploughed through a stack of cards only to then realise it was setting no to both send and receive and I hadn't noticed :(
    Also when handling bulk amounts, it would be much better if the callsign box retained focus at all times when active and you could just hit return after entering callsign as opposed to having to navigate over to the apply button.....

    Thank you for this video! 1. Did you need to print out the address label too? 2. Is there an easy way to print a label right from the contact screen as you enter the QSO? Thanks again….these video really help me to better understand this deep program….it’s far beyond a simple logger.

    Great Video do suggest you move the APPLY button close to the CALLSIGN entry box to minimize the mouse travel.... also how do you print out the address label AND the quo label at the same time assuming not a bureau thx 72 W1SWL

      I've read this a few times. You want the apply button in the ALE next to the callsign? I get your point, if that's the case. We have limited option there. But for speed, I hit the F7 button to save.

    Mike, would it be possible to add "Thanks for your card" or "Card requested please" onto the labels accordingly based on what has been entered into HRD? It would save the recipient having to check at their end. Just to confirm, all of those cards that you entered in the video will be marked as being received "direct"?

    • @HamRadioDeluxe
      @HamRadioDeluxe  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's been added. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Can we add keyboard shortcuts for these buttons? Not only would it make entry faster, it would also improve accessibility. I can't figure out a way to tab between fields in the QSL toolbar and the Filter toolbar either, so there is no way to do this without a mouse that I can find.

      Yep... noted. I think that's a good idea!

    What is the label printer model and size you use..? Some of these cost as much as a radio.

    • @HamRadioDeluxe
      @HamRadioDeluxe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can print directly on the front or back of the card using the evenelope slot on your printer and avoid the cost of label printers and labels.

      @@HamRadioDeluxe only the latest version blocks address . Can only do qsl.

    When you switched to Bureau cards why did you leave it on Manager?

    • @HamRadioDeluxe
      @HamRadioDeluxe  ปีที่แล้ว

      That was an omission on my part. But yes, you'd change it to "Bureau."
