My setup and equipment:
-Nokta Makro simplex plus with standard 11" coil and wireless headphones
-SP24 9.5" X 5" coil (bought seperately)
-Garrett AT pro pointer (garrett carrot)
-Garrett edge digger with holster
-Black ADA stainless steel spartan spade
-Searcher pro finds and tool bag
-Searcher spray bottle
-Go pro hero 9 black (mostly used on chest mount)
-Samsung galaxy s20 for close up videos and photos

Now this field you were walking across to get to teh medieval field where you got the nice button, that sounds like teh small picnic area I was detecting Monday night. Checking and re-checking lots of false iron readings. So, thanks for teh tip Dan, I will go back and try Park 2. 👍👍😉
Glad this has helped mate, definitely always worth trying other settings on all your patches of ground 👌. Park 2 is faster and will help get in between all that mess 👌.

Hi Dan, just watched this latest video and can identify the flag badge that you unearthed. It's part of a rear wing badge from a Triumph Herald. If it were complete, it would have had another flag attached (cross flags). Keep the videos coming, they're great my friend 👍

Great mixture of finds do like the pot legs. Always dig low numbers sometimes there better than the high. Keep up the great work. 😊👍

As for the Legend pro pack. Mine arrives from Unearthed today. Being the Tuesday as I expect yours will. That piece of flag is just half of a definate Car Badge by the way.

Enjoying your videos but would love to know what settings you have your machine on.
I take it you are talking about the simplex settings that were used. I always had the simplex set up in park 1, full sensitivity, iron volume on 2 bars and auto ground balanced. Hope that helps 😁👍

hey, What settings are you on in this field? How come you are not digging all the tones you've passed? do you only dig certain vdi? doing my first group dig and looking for some tip :) thanks
I'm in park 1, full sensitivity, iron volume on 2 bars, auto ground balanced. The tones you are hearing are false signals from iron. If I waved the coil back over them, you would get an iron tone. I've just got used to ignoring them. The simplex will let you know when it's a good signal, as it sounds much clearer and crisp 👌.

I noticed you have a few sounds but you ignore them, can i ask why? and what do you dig please?
Hi mate, its been a while now since I've used the good old trusty
simplex+ now, as I have the legend. Those sounds you are hearing are all falsing on the iron that is on my permission. I've gotten so used to the sound of the false signals that I can just ignore them and move on. Lots of time invested in the simplex 👍.
I would dig abmnything down to 14 on the simplex, but I don't have a lot of tinfoil. 👍
@@DiggerDanMetalDetecting Thank you Dan, i am still getting use to the Simplex and the tones. I have iron turned down or off but i still find it.
@Mark Ashley you are better off not notching anything out mate and use your ears to discriminate. Have the iron volume on 2 bars and don't notch anything, that way you can hear the iron. A good way to check if an iffy signal is iron or not, is to pump the coil up and down on the target, and if it gives an iron tone then it iron 😉👍
