This case offers about nearly the same watercooling potential whilst being easy on the eye PLUS this case offers more in some areas than a CL case. The HDMI and USB C ports at the front, in-built mounts for dual systems and included vertical GPU brackets are just a few of them. It's like the difference between using a studio monitor speaker and a Hifi speaker in your living room. The Hifi speaker will nearly give you the same sound, except it will look 10times better and classier than a studio monitor - and in some respects, more features too.

Finally a case worthy of my Pascal Titan X 2-Way-SLI system I wanted to build right after I'll hit the jackpot.
In Australia this case costs the same as 1 GTX 1080Ti, which for me makes the case seem a bit more justifiable if its the last case I kind of ever buy.
Use the extra dollar to tip your garbage man, for you will have to express your feelings after you notice your dissatisfaction with the way the case looks.
Probably the most beautiful case I have ever seen (weighing looks and functionality). I Love how they integrated the spot for the ITX board at the bottom as most other dual systems have everything setup in ways I would not like. Little pricy but I imagine they are machining all of the parts (no reason to mass produce at that price) so I think it is justified. Definitely beats out some other similar and even more expensive cases. Although I think if I was going to spend that much I would still go for Caselabs (mostly for modding though). This case has its place I like it.
I don't care how much it is, it's on my list for my next build, I've only been using phanteks ( last 4 builds ) since the launch of their first case the Enthoo primo, and with the quality this is going to be, it will probably be the last case that i'll ever need.
Probably just sending some reviewers a free one. No way even a die-hard PC builder would spend that much on a rather generic metal-and-glass case. Lian Li is laughing all the way to the bank, and their cases actually look cool.
That's really not the point of products like these. Like Lian Li, yeah, some enthusiasts will buy them. But they currently justify the cost of R&D for something like that. Eventually, features will trickle down to their much cheaper cases. Just a few years ago, fan controllers, RGB and windowed side panels were things only really expensive cases had and now $80-$100 cases have them.
LOVE IT, if it was $599~ I would pre-order this in a heartbeat. The $900 is a lot... for what it is, at this price point I want more gimmicks. Take the fan controllers... stop with the wires, offer a modular magnetic/contact based installation system. Like those electric lego blocks, I think they call it Brixo. A case this size... it's hard to run fan wires throughout without making it look sloppy. Also, thank you for a speedy video release!!!! Keep it coming!!

similar sized cases like caselab STH10 is also 720+, the problem with these cases is that they are not mass produced, when they are not expecting to sell a lot of them the cost won't be cheap

So many comments about the price of this case. Yes it is very expensive, you could by a $40 case and use the other $859 for a very capable gaming rig if that is what you want to do. But this case is not marketed for people that go that route. This is for the enthusiast PC builder that doesn't care how much it costs.
TBH this is a case I've been waiting for I'm a server Host and not just one but 52 servers at the same time. (VM) it would be really nice to have a server Controller PC and a Regular programming PC this is a very Niche market but, like my self there are some who have been waiting for a case like this. I'm Pretty excited!

I don't need to put two systems in it but I do like a lot of what this case has to offer. $900 though is a definite won't buy, because $900 could mean a few more hard drives or SSD's, another GPU, and many other things I think would be a better use of $900. Once I build mine, I won't have to upgrade it for several years at the very least. Plus things like cases don't ever really need "upgrading".

If they haven't already, Phanteks need to make another mid-plate option with a cutout at the front so you can use a 480 or 560 (if it supports 140s at the front) radiator without having to remove the mid-plate entirely. Epic case, but idk if it's really worth the $900 MSRP. I could see like $500, but 900 is a bit of a stretch.

Okay, so at around 3:10 and 3:33 I can see little streams of air/water in the bottom reservoir as well as the tubing in the close up in the second shot. Is this a bad thing, or is that an effect that can be achieved on purpose? I really like the effect but I can never describe it right or figure out how it's made.

Outside looks great. the interior needs a lot more thought for a case this expensive. At that price, I would not even think about swapping my caselabs SMA8.

For all those in the comments surprised at the price, cases this expensive are nothing new really. Still uncommon for sure- the original (non GT) Thermaltake Level 10 case was the first one I remember in this segment. Those LEDS are pretty crazy I have to say- so vibrant it doesn't look real.
That's a ridiculous price. And I'm still waiting for Phanteks to release aftermarket tempered glass doors for my Enthoo Evolv ATX. I have an earlier model before that version was available and want a kit to upgrade my case to tempered glass. Get on this Phanteks!
Yeah it is expensive, but think of the amount of hardware you can put in there. This would be a wicked streaming machine (if you had the money to begin with) because you could game on your high end rig and off load the stream and even record the footage on the micro itx pc at the bottom of the case. Hell, this could even be your gaming rig and your Nas all in one. 1tb SSD for the gaming machine and tons of space for HDDs for the itx build in the bottom. Think of the possibilities!
The only complaint i have right now before seeing a review, is the front I/O needs to be cleaned up a lot more. The door should not just flip up like that (it should flip up and push in for example), and the I/O area itself has those gaps around it. Perhaps even a nice logo on the front instead of all that flat blank space. That is all.
They gotta chill with the price tho. That's more expensive than most people's entire PCs.

I was thinking the same thing. In fact, all Caselabs' chassis are cheaper.

I was thinking about getting that case for my next pc but that price man jesus, Its more then my current pc.
A huge case at a equally huge cost.
The only complaint i have right now before seeing a review, is the front I/O needs to be cleaned up a lot more. The door should not just flip up like that (it should flip up and push in for example), and the I/O area itself has those gaps around it. Perhaps even a nice logo on the front instead of all that flat blank space. That is all.
