This reminds me, some time ago I read a fan lore that reinterpreted one of the lost primarchs as a bearer of the pariah gene. Being a primarch, his "anti-warpness" was on the same power level than an Omega psyker and the result was... chilling to say the least. In the tale, after causing a lot pain to the chaos gods in the warp he landed on a planet more or less like current day Earth and taken into custody by the local government. However, his power rapidly increased and began to affect the people around him, destroying their minds and essentiallyturning them into vegetables. Eventually he broke free and went on a voyage from city to city, unaware of his effect on the people. The native humans, unaware of this and thinking it was some sort of epidemic disease then began to bombard each other. By the time the Emperor found him, already an adult, he had wiped out every inteligent life form in the planet without even trying. According to the tale, the pariah gene made the legion a very effective force, since their enemies couldn't face them without suffering serious brain damage and their battles were little more than target practice. But since their presence was (Understandably) abhorred by every other human, even the primarchs and the Emperor, he decided to take all his astartes and run away to some unknown section of space before the Horus Heresy began.
Well, after some years of watching those videos and reading books I still consider myself a newcommer too. There are still things that can genuinely suprise my. And thats the amazing thing about W40k universe.
Of all their final fates, Rogal Dorn's is the most underwhelming. He just got rushed by a gang, but there's so many stories of primarchs being completely untouchable by even large numbers of Astartes and slaying terminator squads with ease it makes you think there must be more to this. Maybe chaos was involved somehow.

We can discount the Tau out of hand from that theory I'm afraid, since around the time of M30 they were still banging rocks together and chewing on femurs.
It'd be cool if the Primarchs are made from the genetic material the Emperor collected from destroying the Gods of various ancient human civilisations (Roman, Greek, Egyptian, Norse, etc.)
Michael Mooney Exept the emperor didn't destroy any gods, none of earth's gods were real. He only worked in the background up until the age of strife. They were emade form his DNA
Deathcoldan Humanity’s ancient gods, if real, would be weak and insignificant since, in 40k a “God’s” presence in the warp is linked to its level of worship either direct or indirect. The chaos gods were fed on the backs of millions or even billions of Eldar and the war in heaven with the Old ones . Humanity during pagan times was far too small to contribute any significant deity to the warp.
What would be a primarch’s opinion on a sensei? Would they view them as a brother, a fool, a rival or something else? Given some sensei do worship the “Star child”, which is theorized to be the emperor when his mortal form is killed off, will the sensei play a major role in the future of 40k since their disappearance from new lore or will they be struck as into the void that is mystery and fan theories?
If they make the Emperor happy, then half the Primarchs would accept them and the other half will despise them. The trick is figuring out if the Illuminati is still active or was completely wiped out by the Inquisition.
Aaaaah, the Primarchs... Big E's single greatest achievement and biggest mistake at the same time. Even now questions linger. Questions such as "If Lion El'Jonson comes back into the picture whose side will he *actually* take?" Personally I like to think that the whole mess on Caliban was an enormous messy miscommunication, with both Fallen and Unforgiven actually being broadly 'loyalist'. Let's face it, the Primarchs were generally speaking far from perfect in their own special ways, and Cypher has given us reason to believe that the Fallen actually do have the best interests of Humanity at heart even after all this time. Perhaps they and the Alpha Legion have something going on behind the scenes? Sorry; Fallen, Alpha Legion AND the Ynnari. Humanity and Aeldari both have a lot to gain from each other at this point, what with the Eye of Terror and trying to stop Chaos from eating everyone, both figuratively and literally.
MrMortull like Magnus and Russ, they were puppets of fate and set against the other by hungry gods. All it takes is one heretic to make an entire legion fall.
...It occurs to me that if the Emperor had just held off on his big Webway Project thing for another decade or three and actually, you know, *been a father* to the latecomer Primarchs for a while, things would have gone a lot better. I mean Horus only got Chaos'd because of a conspiracy of little shits who were mostly not even Primarchs in the end. Surely if the big guy had just sheperded his sons' souls a little better towards the end everything would have gone a lot better. And I mean what's thirty or so years to him? More haste less speed, Emps.
MrMortull it didn’t make sense to expect the same level of expansion without him. Another way of looking at it is he was working on improving the Imperium’s infrastructure. Shame he didn’t think to invite Perturabo or Magnus to help in its construction and development. They were never suited to the battlefield. Like Lorgar. In the end, he created his own worst enemies and didn’t keep his family close. Always at an arms distance... but that’s how a craftsman usually treats his tools.
12:46 are you sure? in Deliverance Lost it is implied that the two missing primarchs are already gone, as the emperor tells Corvus Corax that he has seventeen brothers.

I’ve seen it in a million and six TH-cam videos over the past year- and I have a pretty large collection of Warhammer books, Codices, art and sketch books- and yet that beautiful black and white picture has not appeared in a single one of them. I’d be ever grateful if you could help me out with this! Thanks a ton- love your videos!
Remember folks, the White Scars could have their primarch back if he would only learn to pull over and ask for directions. At this point even Vect would probably willing to give him accurate directions out of the webway just to finally be rid of him.
Just an idea, "What if the Emperor listened to Malcador the Sigilite's advice of making female primarchs?". Like 10 primarchs will be sons and the other 10 will be daughters. Just a thought though.
Hi remleiz love your channel i just want to ask about this quotation and who said it. I remember seeing this in your channel "At the end of the day, though he's been ferried through hell on a ship that's ten thousand years old to some godforsaken, war-torn rock; though he deployed from high orbit with nothing but a grav chute; though he is one of ten million men and women snatched from his homeworld to fight a war he barely understands; though he has been given a weapon that fires small suns and may annihilate him as he fires because the knowledge of how it functions has been lost; though his company is supported by tractor-tanks that run on anything you can burn; though he wages war against a devouring hivemind, ravenous demons and hordes of hyper-advanced aliens with strange technologies and sorceries he never dreamed existed; no one will remember his sacrifice, there will be no records of his deeds, no glorious parades in his honor, and no remembrance of his name. All he will earn is a shallow, unmarked grave on a forgotten world untold lightyears from home. Yet for all this thankless sacrifice a Guardsman is a man, just like you. He has no millennia-old genetic engineering, no prophetic leader, no miracles of faith. He has his lasgun, his orders, and those beside him. He is the Imperial Guard. And he will hold the line."
Toi Eagol definitely the orks and the Tyranids would be easy to make movies about but the writers heads would explode trying to contemplate the fourth degree mind fuckery of the warp
Did I miss something or were the ones who accepted the emperor more easily also the ones who turned traitor while the loyal ones all required some feat of strength?
I like to think one of the lost Primarchs and legions turned to the fifth Chaos god, Malice Malice is the Chaos god of anarchy and he fights against the other 4 gods simply for the lulz
7:47 - Also known as Big Papa Ultrasmurf. | 8:12 - It's Spiky Tits! | 10:37 - KHAN!!! (echoes) | 10:56 - Fiction's most horrific version of Batman. | 11:33 - Angron the Barbarian.
I know that's it's all meant to be a mystery, but one day I'd love to know what happened to the lost primarchs and their legions, would be cool to do armies around them in 30k or 40k if one or both should ever return in an event
King of the Wastes no, it's nigh-impossible. The two unknown legions were specifically created to give players some sort of independence while creating their SM armies/legions
Let the fanfictin keep piling up. But seriously I really hope they really do keep it open and ambiguous because the option and ability to homebrew is definitely one truely awesome part about it. Just saying that they just died unceremoniously seems like a bit of a cop out in my honest opinion
I like to think that Mailcabor was a primar as he was the most powerfully person in history next to the primarce / empire . to me hes the 2 and was difective or ment for a diffrent task.
I find it funny how lorgar made a religion about the emperor and got told off and now look in 40k it’s literally the only thing your allowed to believe (except the machine god )
well you might have a point, expect for the fact Konrad Curze whos, also insane and has more personalities than fulgrim has fancy dressers (which he has many) was able to at lest take control of his home planet though fear. and I'm fairly sure Konrad Curze did more than Angron in the crusade any way.
As a Primarch and son of the Emperor shouldn't Guilliam be regent of the imperium. I would imagine that the high lords of terra would have a hard time refusing him if he demanded they hand over their power to him
Guilliman and the Lion got on as well as anyone can with the distrustful Lion and Guilliman says in Dark Imperium that he wishes he had the company of one of his (loyal) brothers. So he'd try and wake him up, I guess.
So one thing ive never been able to get a proper answer for is, if there is a set of twin primarchs does that mean theres actually 21 primarchs or no just 20 ?
I might be misremembering here, but back in the day, when I played 2nd edition 40K, I thought there was only 12 Primarchs. Am I wrong or did the GEoM find some more down the back of the sofa at some point?

"At the end of the day, though he's been ferried through hell on a ship that's ten thousand years old to some godforsaken, war-torn rock; though he deployed from high orbit with nothing but a grav chute; though he is one of ten million men and women snatched from his homeworld to fight a war he barely understands; though he has been given a weapon that fires small suns and may annihilate him as he fires because the knowledge of how it functions has been lost; though his company is supported by tractor-tanks that run on anything you can burn; though he wages war against a devouring hivemind, ravenous demons and hordes of hyper-advanced aliens with strange technologies and sorceries he never dreamed existed; no one will remember his sacrifice, there will be no records of his deeds, no glorious parades in his honor, and no remembrance of his name.
Hollywood isn't ready for Warhammer. Make no mistake.
Toi Eagol definitely the orks and the Tyranids would be easy to make movies about but the writers heads would explode trying to contemplate the fourth degree mind fuckery of the warp
@@dionjaywoollaston1349 MY HEAD IS EXPLOOOOOOOODING
Toi Eagol well that’s just great all our troops are dying, hey Dominic are you dying?
@@dionjaywoollaston1349 At least Vulkan is a black primarch, so WH40K isn't that racist.
Did I miss something or were the ones who accepted the emperor more easily also the ones who turned traitor while the loyal ones all required some feat of strength?
I like to think one of the lost Primarchs and legions turned to the fifth Chaos god, Malice
Malice is the Chaos god of anarchy and he fights against the other 4 gods simply for the lulz
7:47 - Also known as Big Papa Ultrasmurf. | 8:12 - It's Spiky Tits! | 10:37 - KHAN!!! (echoes) | 10:56 - Fiction's most horrific version of Batman. | 11:33 - Angron the Barbarian.
Damn.....fresh video! Nice!
*Blood Raven* : You guys having primarch?
Why does fulgrim look like a women in his 1st picture
Because it's Fulgrim
He s trying to be fabulous (albeit badly)
He’s always been androgensly beautiful lol then he turned into a weird snake siren demon lord hedonism...glorious
widder shins ehh I’d still tap it
A little bit of the Emperor. A little bit of the Chaos Gods.
jacobcaster
A Whole lot of genetic magic
Rogal Dorn will be back! vulcan will be also. i cant wait for every primarch loyal or traitor i cant wait for another epic fight!
Kristan
Dorn, Russ, Vulkan, Kharn, Corax and Lion can all come back
Imagine the primarchs as the level that the juggernaut is in Deadpool 2 strength wise, and the Adeptus Astartes are on colossus level
I have yet to see a pc game that does this insane universe justice. Id love a brutal, deep and epic rpg playing as one of the Primarchs.
OI! Dat sounz like a gud foit for da Boyz. A hul new pla uh.. pla t-furm ta show who da meanest and da greenest are.
I know that's it's all meant to be a mystery, but one day I'd love to know what happened to the lost primarchs and their legions, would be cool to do armies around them in 30k or 40k if one or both should ever return in an event
"of the Leegeeohnee Ahstrahtees"
I always thought it was weird how Alpharius Omegon were referred to as one person, including saying that there are 20 Primarchs rather than 21
Sacho Man Mandy Ravage they sort of are they are 1 soul 2 body's sort of thing it's not that they brothers but separate they are the same essence
great video but uhh, I think Leman Russ has been a lil' bit miss represented with that audio sample
I like to think the two unknown primarchs, just wanted to be left alone and the emporer agreed to leave them after they spoke
For Russ!!!
For the Alfather!!!
Hail wolf Brother
dear lord this sounds like a futuristic Greek tragedy
You know, at 16, 17 I would have started to think if this was a good idea😂
I wonder if the story of the 2 missing primarchs will ever get told, i suppose if they think they can make some cash they might.
Thats actually kinda cool.
Malcador was right... a daughter or two WOULD have made things more civil.
DORN is back, baby!
I've been off from 40k lore for too long. Is Guilliman alive/awake as of now?
Yup.
i bet the 2nd and the 11th legions are only purged on paper but have actualy become shadow legions who work behind the scenes
Magnus did nothing wrong! Magnus for the win! "Suck it Lemun, you furry fuck!"
PS~ Do Imperial Guard next?
Maybe the Adeptus Custodes should be covered next.
ahh 17...the emperors most disappointing son
To be fair, one shouldn’t expect much from a dude with a nail through his head…
well you might have a point, expect for the fact Konrad Curze whos, also insane and has more personalities than fulgrim has fancy dressers (which he has many) was able to at lest take control of his home planet though fear. and I'm fairly sure Konrad Curze did more than Angron in the crusade any way.
The Lion is actually awake! I'm the end of the Codex, it reveals that Luther escaped and that the Lion is awake
As a Primarch and son of the Emperor shouldn't Guilliam be regent of the imperium. I would imagine that the high lords of terra would have a hard time refusing him if he demanded they hand over their power to him
When Horus throws a fit then Guilliman becomes #1
Dorn had his own empire.. too bad you only included girlyman’s “empire”..
girlyman is GW's posterboy and favoured son it seams..... It's all about the Ultrasmurfs
I wonder if guilliman is aware of the lion on the rock? If so will he wake him up? Kill him ?
There was still 20 in 2nd edition (listed in codex imperialis)
I thought so. I'm going to have to dig up my old rulebooks and refresh my memory.
perhaps you're Confusing the 20 Primarchs (of 40k) with the 12 Primes (from Transformers)
Possible, I am a big fan of both. I admit it's likely my memory is wrong. That's why I had to ask, so thanks for putting me straight.
ThomasFishwick maybe you were remembering the surviving ones or the first founding legions
WHEN SOMEBODY ASKS YOU IF YOU ARE THE GOD EMPEROR, YOU SAY YES!!!!
Who’s the dude on the left of the video picture? It’s sanguinuis, robute, and ?
The Lion
