You gave me a spark of knowledge about my favourite franchise, while giving it a glimmer. Knowing this beautiful adaption has earned more than 80 billion is astonishing. Good luck as a TH-camr, I’ll subscribe to remember you! .. and as always, stay as sweet as honey.
I wonder what happens when Calvin and Hobbes enters the public domain years down the line, I feel like there would be a lot of discussion surrounding that in the future
Is it just me, or is the share button on subscribe button? And also, WHERE ARE THE REST OF THEM??? They were there in the beginning of the video, but now they're gone!!! All of that aside, great video! I like the editing style! (Even though you jumpscared me with the blood and honey trailer)
I love the old pooh bear. I feel like some new animated series kinda suck, but the first animated movies and series were full of so much love for the series as a whole
Hi Corey! I started my Channel 1 year ago, and I can clearly see your effort in these videos. I also just binged about 5 of your videos and began taking notes lol (This isn’t a Parasocial Relationship, right? lol). All seriousness, wishing your channel goes to moon! 🌕 Speaking from a person also in his mid-ish late 30s, finding the time to make these videos with other competing responsibilities, isn’t easy. Question : Do you edit your own videos? One more commendation, and I’m done, it takes a lot of effort to buy a book, record yourself flipping through it, just to be seen for a few seconds. That takes effort and provides credibility! Not joking. Keep up the great work.
Thanks! I do edit my own videos. I've been approached by a few editors recently since my latest video has gotten a lot of views and have definitely started contemplating what it'd be like to hand off the editing work but it feels like it'd still be a lot of effort just to explain my vision and provide the types of visuals I want to use. Could definitely save time in the end but I do think in the video essay genre there's something to be said for the fact that your editing style helps convey your unique personality and thought process.
@@coreyjcampbell - thanks for the reply! Yes, funny thing about getting others to do some editing, I spend twice as much time changing everything given my taste. Hard to put random ideas all on paper 📄 and expect an editor to know what I want (second by second) for an entire video. 😳 My most successful video thus far has been lately - Pied Piper. Average watch time was 10 minutes and about 2.1k views. Crazy thing, second most “successful “ video was a video on Batman (Baby doll) with about 20 subs or so added as well, but I spent the least amount of time on that video but just loved the topic. Completed between 8pm and 2am. I recently spent about 40 hours on my Samurai video and the video still is under 100 views lol with a length of 46 minutes, and average watch time of about 2 minutes lol. My profile shows CocoMelon (27kish views) as being “successful” but that is kind of misleading given I paid for Google ads (not a good idea) and average watch time was less than 1 minute and the time doesn’t count towards monetization goals. I am looking for a good editor, so if you run into some talent, please send them my way. Wishing you all the best ! (end rant)
But...but...Disney+ has been out for four years and they have done absolutely NOTHING with Winnie the Pooh. Lots of Mickey Mouse stuff, but the yellow bear with his red shirt has been ignored.
Does this mean Disney can’t use Pooh anymore? I don’t want the Winnie the Pooh we all know and love replaced by a evil variant that shouldn’t be remembered and if I have the power I’d delete and prune that monstrosity out of exhistance (Please excuse the Loki terminology, I finished watching season 2 and still hype about it)
No Disney still controls all their Pooh material. It’s just that now others can make adaptations using Pooh (as long as it’s not too similar to how Disney portrays him.) You’re def not alone in wishing there was no Blood and Honey made but it def won’t replace the classics in any way.

holy frick! how do you have only 970 subs? PS keep up the good work, you've earned a sub
It makes me so happy it’s in public domain now.
Winnie The GOAT 🐐
This is a video right up my alley, and dang is it high quality!

underrated chanel, idk why tho it seems like its one of those "how to grow your channel things lol"

For sure, over time things always get watered down but the original Disney adaptations really captured the spirit of the book.
More than Jurassic Park?
Good video, solid job man
Keep the videos coming!
